Chapter 13 "Ms. Maria"

"Hey! We've talked about it before! We will use our weakest weapon when we fight against Ioki!" The blonde woman shouted.

"This is all simply to scare them off. Isn't that a part of strategy as well? Isn't that right, Commander Ioki?" The woman in chains sarcastically asked.

"Our first victory~ Long live the Fortune Squad, yaaay~" The wizard quoted Ioki as if making fun of him.

She danced around in her oversized hat and robe, swaying from side to side.

Seeing this, the woman in chains laughed, followed by the blondie.

"RIGHT? Isn't Ioki just cute? Oh My God, I swear I'm fine with watching Ioki all day!" The blondie chimed in.

Seeing how they suddenly changed after their first impression of making an entrance from the sky, Ioki was lost for words...

The other party started laughing as well when they kept hearing them making fun of Ioki.

Ioki couldn't help but cover his face with his hands.

Slowly, he could feel his face burn... He can't even afford to let go of his hands right now, or they will see him in a shameful state.

Suddenly, a hand made its way through Ioki's palm, uncovering his face.

"Heyyy, big sis came all this way, and you are not even gonna welcome her?" The blondie asked Ioki while holding his hands.

"I---I'm sorry... Are you Ms. Maria?" Ioki asked her back.

"Bingo! That's right! Big sis came here right away with her friends, too, you know? Even though they looked like that, but they love watching your LIVE as well!" Ms. Maria said in a cheerful tone.

Ms. Maria then dragged Ioki to where her friends were.

"Okay, let me introduce you to them!" Ms. Maria said as he put her hand on Ioki's shoulder, "The first one is Rosaria! She is really strong, you know!"

"Hi, nice to meet you, Ioki!" The woman in chains extended her hand.

Ioki shook her hand, but she didn't let go.

"Oh my, should I just bind you and bring you somewhere?" Rosaria teased.

"Hey, enough! It's my turn now!" The girl in the robe pushed Rosaria away, "Hi, Commander Ioki~ My name is Sweet Lily! Do you want to know why I named myself Sweet Lily?"

Sweet Lily approached Ioki and whispered in his ear, "Because I am as addicting as candy, do you want to lick me?"

With the relentless tease made after one another from them, Ioki's face is now as red as a tomato.

"I---I think we should just get into the sparring session! W---we can't waste any more time!" Ioki stuttered.

"Why do you have to be this cute, you brat!" Ms. Maria said as she patted Ioki's head.

"Please stop touching my head! I will give you 50 Golds right after the spa---" Ms. Maria put her finger on Ioki's lips before finishing his sentence.

"That's the thing, we will spar with you till you are satisfied with the results. But... Hehe~" A perverted expression could be seen on Ms. Maria's face.

"Let us hug you till we are satisfied, we don't need the golds," Rosaria finished Ms. Maria's explanation.

"Jeez... Even though Ioki is indeed cute, but please control yourself!" Sweet Lily hit Ms. Maria with her icy staff on the head.

Wiping the drool off her face with one hand while the other touched the place where she had just been hit, she nodded.

"WH---WHAT KIND OF REQUEST IS THAT?" Ioki screamed at them, "NO! I WILL NO---"

"Well, you see, I can just get rid of all of you in here," Rosaria replied while her chains started to move again.

"Try me!" Ioki replied.

They see Ioki with another expression after hearing Ioki reply. They smirked, and slowly, their smirk turned into a lustful expression...

"Command your battalion then. Let's start the sparring!" Ms. Maria raised her wooden sword.

"Don't worry, babe, I will go easy on you and your Battalion... I hope," Rosaria said smugly as her chains moved slowly.

"Try doing the same thing with the party from before; I assure you, you will lost before it even starts," Sweet Lily said as she changed her staff into a wooden staff.

Ioki raised his hand, "Tighten the formation! Don't give space for her chains to slither between you!"

The Goblins in front had their shields pierced to the ground as they tightened their formation, spears coming in from the second row with their tips ready to pierce the approaching enemy.

"Nice try, hun! But it won't work on us!" Ms. Maria rushed in.

She jumped and stroked from above. The wooden sword made a cutting voice as she descended.

"Open up! Let her hit the ground!" Ioki shouted.

The Goblin opened up their formation, and Ms. Maria fell right into the circle they just opened.

"Good! Disarm her right away! The one with swords in the backline separates from the formation. Help the one behind the Mage!" Ioki bluffed.

As Rosaria and Sweet Lily looked behind, they laughed at themselves.

"You brat!" Sweet Lily shouted as she chanted her spell.

"Throw a knife into her!" Ioki commanded.

After incapacitating Ms. Maria, the Goblins turned their attention to the other two.

A Goblin made a throw right into the direction of Sweet Lily.

*CLANG*

The sound of metals clashing could be heard; the dormant chains were now moving like snakes looking for prey.

The chains slithered around the Battalion, tripping them and disarming some of their weapons.

"Focus on the one with chains!" Ioki commanded once again.

As the Goblin crowd towards Rosaria, Sweet Lily's surroundings are starting to be covered with vines. Slowly, the vines were moving towards the ground where the Battalion was.

"By the name of Gaia! Binding Field!" Sweet Lily finished her chant.

Massive vines entangled the Goblin's feet; the ones with swords and spears tried to cut them off, but they grew at abnormal speed...

With a swift sweep, Rosaria's chains knocked all of the Goblins.

"We surrender!" Ioki put his hands up.
