Chapter 28: Rampage

Leaving the fairy realm behind just as mysteriously as she had come. Aribelle returned to the forest of the human world to find it in the midst of a blazing inferno. The spot from where she had disappeared almost completely consumed by crops of raging fire. Aribelle coughed as the smoke filled her lungs.

A violent roar shaking the trees, she staggered in fear. Realizing that this terrifying display of destruction must be the result of Cassius's wrath. She cried out, recoiling away from the flames around her. "S-stop! Cassius, please- "Aribelle's plea cut short by the soot sticking within her throat. She choked desperately for air, as a great black dragon swooped down from above. Landing before her, Cassius flapped his wings in one swift cutting motion. The force of the current quickly extinguishing the flames around her, Aribelle too was forced backward by the gust.
