Raphael looked away from his mate and toward Ashton Lloyd. Ashton pushed the people out of his way, his face red with rage as he approached him and Addy.
Lucien growled low in his throat where he stood beside Dominik. His red eyes flashed as his wolf rose to the surface, determined to take out the threat before it got too close to their mate.
Ashton's face turned from bright red to white at the sound coming from Lucien. He was one of the weaker members of the pack, never wanting to do any of the work but more than willing to use the status that the Silverblood pack gave him to get his way.
Raphael let out a long sigh. At least if he left the pack, he wouldn't have to deal with Ashton for much longer. The long list of demands that he made of the Alpha on a daily basis would have Dominik snapping his neck in a heartbeat.
