"Oh wow... there are so many Servants here!"
Comic Convention—
Compared to the last time, this time it has expanded significantly because of the success of the previous Comic Convention, which led to increased investments from sponsors.
Add to that the serialization of [Fate] new chapter.
The protagonist, Emiya Shirou's "For my little sister! Justice be damned!" had everyone excited. Coupled with even more splendid battle scenes than before, it set the entire Japanese manga market on fire. This Comic Convention was more magnificent than the last one.
The quality of cosplays had also improved.
And after the previous "advertisement," there were even more attendees...
Moreover, it happened to coincide with the ongoing Holy Grail War in Fuyuki City—today is the last day of the Comic Convention.
King Iskandar, accompanied by his Master, Waver Velvet, wandered around.
"Well, this is good. Get me a copy of that."
"Um... can I give it to you for free, but can I take a photo?" The vendor selling doujinshi looked at Iskandar and said, "Your cosplay as King of Conquerors is so spot on!"
"Haha, of course. I am a professional after all!"
"That's right, that's right, exactly like this," The vendor thought to himself. If there were a King of Conquerors, he would look just like this!
Looking closely, a crowd had already gathered around them.
Seeing that the King of Conquerors agreed to take photos, those who had been intimidated by his imposing figure earlier also came forward.
"Too slow! Come on, everyone!" Iskandar opened his arms and said, "Become my subjects, all of you! Hahaha!"
"Ohhhhhhhh—Long live the King of Conquerors!"
"That's right—Long live the King of Conquerors."
"Hahaha—"
Watching Iskandar having fun nearby, Waver's mouth twitched. He glanced at the cover of the doujinshi that the vendor had given to Iskandar and forcefully slapped his forehead.
"Oh, what is this? The content on the cover is too much for me to handle... And then I suddenly remembered... Isn't the King of Conquerors bisexual? I feel like I'm about to explode! And Rider is having so much fun over there!"
"Um, excuse me, cosplayer, could you help us out? The person supposed to play the King of Conquerors on our stage couldn't make it due to some emergency."
"Haha, sure, what's the matter?"
"Alright, it's a stage play! Although it might be a bit late for you to learn the script now, but with your cosplay looking so much like him, that's enough. Of course, we'll compensate you well!"
"That sounds good. I'm actually quite interested in this. A stage play... Well, it might unexpectedly be fun. Huh? By the way, Waver—"
"Ah, what is it?" Waver walked over with a desolate look on his face. He shouldn't have come over!
"What do you think of him joining us?" Iskandar patted Waver's shoulder.
"Huh? Is he... cosplaying as Waver? He looks so similar... but the clothes are different. Well, we'll figure something out."
"Haha, that's right."
"But even though we have the King of Conquerors costume, I'm not sure..." The man cosplaying as a sparkling gold figure pointed to his wig and compared it to Iskandar's physique. "Can he fit into it?"
"Hahaha, don't worry, don't worry! How could I come here without preparing extra clothes?" Iskandar said, and suddenly a sword appeared at his waist.
"Huh? When did that appear?"
"It's been there all along! It's been there all along!" Waver quickly used the Magecraft that his master, Kayneth, had trained him so hard in for over a year to enhance his physical abilities, and with a hint of bitterness, he said, "This sword has always been here!"
"Oh, right, I didn't notice it earlier. Now that I think about it, it has indeed been there all along."
"Oops." Iskandar slapped his forehead and said, "I was having so much fun that I almost forgot!"
"..." Waver's mouth twitched. What could he say at this point?
So, Iskandar changed his clothes in the restroom...
He put on the clothes he had originally worn.
The moment he walked out of the restroom—
"Ohhhhhhhh—"
"Ohhhhhhhh—"
Cheers erupted all around.
"Hahaha—" Iskandar laughed along with them. "King of Conquerors Iskandar—onward to conquest!"
And so, the group of cosplayers with wild hair and sparkling gold costumes shouted, "King—King—King—"
The atmosphere was extremely enthusiastic.
Everyone around was drawn to them.
Looking at this character, standing over two meters tall, as if he had walked out of a manga.
Among them, there were some who cosplayed characters like Artoria and Gilgamesh.
But... there was no one who cosplayed as Iskandar!
The reason was simple—no one else was over two meters tall and had such massive muscles.
This King of Conquerors—
He looked like the real deal.
Whether it was his hair, muscles, the scars on his arms, or his demeanor...
Even while playing, he exuded the feeling of "the king setting off on a campaign."
"Alalalalalala—"
With Iskandar's roar, people around them joined in, "Alalala—"
It could be said that this was the most lively Comic Convention ever.
Iskandar played until nightfall, and they only left after the Comic Convention closed. Many people accompanied him... which might not have been the case originally. But... watching this hearty man who looked just like the real King of Conquerors.
There was a genuine desire to stay by his side.
"Ugh..."
Iskandar carried bags and parcels and walked to an empty place, feeling nostalgic. "If only Saber and Archer had been summoned, that would have been great. Haha, it would have been fun for everyone to tour the Comic Convention together. Haha! Well, I'm even more determined now to conquer this world!"
"Do you get more determined by these things?"
Waver also held a pile of things in his hands.
These were all related to Iskandar. There were figurines, posters, keychains, and more... even notebooks.
It was almost unbearable to look at.
And, almost none of these things were bought; they were all given to him by others!
"Haha, doesn't this explain it perfectly? They have all been conquered by my grandeur and become my subjects! I've said it before... when I used my Reality Marble earlier, it was much easier than I expected... Hahaha. This just proves that countless people have been swayed by my grandeur!"
Saying that, he walked to an empty area and looked around before drawing his sword from his waist.
"Ha—"
The next moment, his Noble Phantasm, "Gordius Wheel," an ancient war chariot, appeared with a thunderous crash before them.
"Alright, kid, let's go back!"
As he unleashed his Noble Phantasm, he suddenly felt that for some reason, using his abilities and Noble Phantasm had become easier.
Is this just his feeling, or could there be something he's not aware of?
