"Drrriiiing" A loud ringing noise sounded my ears, making me wake up . Blinking and rubbing my eyes to get rid of the drowsiness, I slammed my right arm to the bed side table which hosted the alarm clock causing the morning disturbance, only to hear a "smash". Suddenly not sleepy anymore, I looked at where my right arm was resting, only to find pieces of what was previously an alarm clock under it.
"You're alive huh? What a shame" a voice suddenly sounded off in my head making me jolt."Shame.I was going to ask the cute waiter boy out if you didn't wake up".
Internally shivering at that thought,I simply said "Morning to you too". Getting a grunt of affirmation in reply I asked Artalis"how long was I out?"
"About twenty seven hours, give or take a few" she replied. "And before you ask, nothing important happened." Thank you" I replied to her mentally with a grateful tone. Then after reminiscing the events of last night I parted the curtains that adorned the walls revealing two windows through which dim sun rays entered the room. Finding the light adequate for my purpose,I removed my T-shirt , praying to all the gods of every plane, hoping I hadn't gained the accursed disco filter that came as a default for every vampire's skin. I finished removing the garment that adorned my torso and stood infront of the now open window ,waiting for the clouds to part with preturbed mind. After waiting for half an hour the cloud that covered the sky revealed a tiny gap ,through which golden sunrays fell on Forks for a brief moment. The light fell into my room , onto my naked, well defined upper body at that brief moment ,and to my greatest joy my body didn't glow.
I dramatically fell onto my knees as I held up my hands like a worshipper praying to god and a loud yell screaming "YES!!!" erupted from the deapths of my vocal cords making the room tremble.
"I'm not a disco ball" the thought victoriously reverberated in my cranium as I jumped up and down in ecstasy in the room that was back to it's usual state as the light withdrew.
After going on for five straight minutes, I finally managed to calm down as I sat on the bed with my legs out a side.
"Are you done?" Artalis's dry voice brought me back from high heaven back to earth. "When you are done being childish, tell me about your plans for the vampire bodies"
Remembering the matters at hand I quickly asked her "what did you do with the bodies." with a hint of curiosity .After the killing process, I was out cold thanks to the venom. So I had no idea of how or where the vampire remains are.
"I buried them under THE rock," Artalis replied mentioning the rock we had used multiple times to keep animal hides."Now tell me what you're doing with them ,before I use my dragon breath on your soul!" She threatened me.
Getting flashbacks of my past experiences, I hurriedly went to my mind space and explained" Why did the Quileute tribe start to shift?"
"Because the Cullens came back to Forks" a reply immediately sounded.
"Then why weren't there more wolves even though there were more people in the tribe?"
"Because they didn't face any vampires" a understanding look came upon her face as she understood where I was going.
"I'm going to put vampire remains in their neighbourhood to see how many wolves are going to awaken" I stated with a wide grin on my face.
If the amount of wolves became large there's bound to be conflict. After all, the wolves that awaken are going to be muscle bound, hormonal teenagers with anger issues. I mused thoughtfully.
Next morning in the Quileute community, Jacob black woke up with a jolt from a nightmare . Opening his eyes he was greeted with the dim light of early morning from the window. Stretching to relieve the stiffness of his body he walked towards the windows to open them , ignoring a peculiar feeling. As he got closer a sense of unease started to affect Jacob. Feeling the uneasiness, Jacob became vigilant, his entire being was warning him of something and he was not going to ignore it.
Cautiously he opened the window while keeping a arms length from it, and not seeing anything he moved towards it.
When reached to the open window , his eye caught on something that was on the windowsill. Curiosity overcame cautiousness as he took the palm sized object that glittered in the sun, as if it was coated in diamond dust.
Later that day Jacob as well as twenty six other youths entered phasing, and within a week they all became shifters, marking the highest shifter amount in the history of the Quileute tribe.
