Alex pov

The rush for the wedding took a hold of me. I hardly saw Sam, mom and took care of myself. Work too was also at a rush. Investors flying in and out. I always came home from work late or slept at the office. “Gloria, I’m going home. Call me of anything happens”. She responded and I left for home.

The house was dark and lonely. A dim light was shining downstairs only to be Sam’s studio. I silently went up to check on her and was wondering why she was still up at this time. She’s cute j said to myself as she slept on her chair. “She always looks for uncomfortable places to fall asleep in”. I muttered to myself. I picked her up gently in bridal style and took her to our room. “In a few days we will be one”. I brushed a strand of her hair as she was asleep. Ring ring “hello, ..... Alright “. I missed her on the cheek and left for the office.
