Sensei 27: Upgrades

The group were almost about to arrive on Fuhren at a kilometer away, chatting and doing some things that would make them spend some time inside the carriages.

Well, that was until a part of Fuhren's wall was broken, and out came a hunched lizard-like monster jumping out of the rubble.

The carriage had to stop for this entire reason, and the monster continued, killing and consuming anyone who comes by it's way and seemingly regenerated faster and became a little stronger the more it devours.

It was at this moment that several students hopped out of the carriages, with a few more people walking out of it.

Of course, you already knew that the students were of Aiko's party, and you don't need to worry about them.

The templar knights almost followed them, but by Satoru's gesture, they stopped, though they looked worried towards the students.

"Hey! This time, that monster is much stronger than what you'd expect, give it your all, Armored Riders and Jewel Maidens!" Satoru shouted, giving his students a double peace sign.

"Do your best!" Aiko cheered, not needing to worry.

Tio and Melusine were silent, observing the upcoming battle.

The lizard-like monster approached them, and it's hulking, terrifying form almost scared the students.

But....

{ DRIVER SET ! }

"Hen.... shin!" Shimizu, Noboru, Tamai and Akito shouted, transforming first, as patterns from their devices started spreading throughout their body, then, in an instant, they have transformed.

Noboru, unlike his past transformations, had become a little more bulky, while Akito had donned an armor meant for speed, Tamai had donned an armor that is perfectly balanced for many situations.

And Shimizu....

He donned a dark armor, fitting for a villainous rider.

"What about you? Start transforming already, it's approaching fast!" Shimizu complained to the girls, who proceeded to quickly shake their heads and raise their transformation devices and immediately transform into their Magical Girl personas.

Well, they technically could not even introduce themselves, because the monster was already too close to them!

Noboru pushed Akito away and blocked a ferocious strike from the monster, yet was pushed back a few feet before attacking it with a powerful blow to the stomach, and then another blow towards the monster's jaw.

Without wasting time, the Magical Girl- ahem, Jewel Maidens sent out their energy attacks to push the massive lizard away for a few feet, giving the others time to attack.

Shimizu first approached the Lizard as a dark miasma envelops his armored hand, and with a grunt, he willed the miasma to envelop the lizard, consuming it in the process.

The lizard screeched in pain, and all that Shimizu did was grin as he started gaining it's stats at a slow rate while slowly killing it, until a few of it's jewels started glowing.

And then, the miasma that Shimizu subjected it to was dispersed with a roar.

Akito then used the cutlasses that were on his armor once he approached, being a little more used to his speed once he has transformed, he started to overwhelm the monster with continuous quick strikes and slashes that made sparks once his blades grazed and cut the flesh of the lizard.

The entire group started overwhelming the lizard with intense strikes, either though physical means, or magical means.

They didn't even allow the lizard to even attack, forcing it to go on a defensive, until it went berserk and no longer cared about defense.

Noboru was suddenly hit with a powerful tail whip attack from the Lizard, launching him towards Satoru, who only raised his hand and stopped his student from being launched further.

"Thank you, sensei." Noboru said, before he was forced out of his transformation through some reason. However, he noticed that Satoru was very disappointed.

"Your driver is damaged, so you won't be able to use it for a while because it needs to be repaired." He sighed, kneeling down to collect the driver for the same reason.

Aiko was started to get even more worried, as their students were no longer gaining the upper hand.

"All of you! Finish the fight now!" Satoru shouted in a serious manner before he proceeded to pocket the damaged driver.

Once his students heard this, they proceeded to use their strongest attacks and combine them into a series of rider kicks infused with the power of the current Jewel Maidens.

Their finishing attacks all landed through the Lizard monster, creating a big explosion that lasted for an entire second.

However, it seems like the Lizard has still survived, with it's flesh regenerating quickly. It was also noticable that the jewels that it originally had were broken and never repaired.

"That's not even enough to kill it!?" Knight Leader exclaimed in shock, before he noticed Satoru glancing towards Melusine, who moved forward and then grew a pair of glowing wings.

A hundred glowing feathers plucked themselves out of her wings, only to converge in one spot in front of her extended hands, forming a massive ball of light. The Sensei raised his hand towards the ball, in which the ball became smaller and more concentrated.

Melusine fired a wide laser towards the Lizard that consumed it and everything else that touched it. Excluding Satoru's students who were teleported to a safe distance behind Satoru.

When the wide laser vanished, Melusine lowered her hands and nodded.

"Target eradicated, returning to out-of-combat status." Melusine gently sighed while letting her wings vanish.

Although Tio was incredibly suspicious about Melusine, she had become cautious of Satoru, too.

Nothing much happened after this, as Satoru immediately scolded his students about one of them letting his own Ride Device get damaged too early, and about the others not looking for weak spots and straight up being too flashy and even dealing less damage whilst being flashy.

He even smacked their heads when they were no longer on their transformed states. His students understood why, and did not complain about it. Even the knights see it as a strange thing to see.

At least the riders have their own armors evolved this time.

Aiko couldn't really do anything to stop Satoru from scolding their students, because she definitely would try doing that, too.

Anyways, the group was on their path towards Fuhren to take a break from their journey, then they would travel to the Orcus Great Labyrinth after resting.
