[ ~ Chapter • Start ~ ]
"So, should we just stand here, or....?" Aiko looked at Satoru, who observed the students.
"Just observe my fruits of progress for a moment." Satoru said confidently with a small grin on his face, as if he knew there was a very low chance of them being defeated, for now at least.
"Anyways, all of you! Recover the bodies of your allies and treat the wounded! Retreat if you needed it!" He shouted towards the soldiers that bravely fought for this town.
In response, many of them did just that, quickly, yet not hurriedly as they carried the heavily wounded to safety for the sake of healing the injuries and also resting. They know that the townspeople were watching in awe.
There were people who were still present, to watch as an epic battle unfolded.
Meanwhile, in the distance where Satoru glanced with expectations for a mere fraction of a second....
"Reiss, that was very unexpected....." A dark skinned elf said, flabbergasted and in pure disbelief at what was happening down below.
Meanwhile, the other was not so different, rather, he was 100% speechless.
"Unexpected, huh...." Reiss muttered angrily.
"Look, you have done your best to get as many mana beasts that we rightfully own to finish this mission, but we might fail for the very first.... time." He sighed, glancing at the side to see Satoru staring right at him with a strange grin.
And that grin completely unnerved him.
'.... The other teacher of the Hero Group, he's mysterious, but now.... I feel like he's the evilest we've ever encountered. Way more evil than the traitors from several thousand years ago....' He immediately looked away from that monster, sweating nervously. Of course, he was overexaggerating.
"Agh! Damn those armored fools and strange wizards! Damn that asshole too! They're ruining our plans even more!!!" The demon beside Reiss shouted in intense anger, gritting his teeth whilst pointing at the transformed students and both a transformed Melusine and Tio, who were in the process of fighting around 40,000 mana beasts, now reduced by 5,000 by the passing minutes.
At below, a barrage of magical blasts, mainly from the Magical Girls hit hundreds of mana beasts on the air while the Armored Riders on the ground cooperated to defeat the mana beasts.
Well, not really.
There's actually rarely any cooperation from them, meaning that they were all still learning and getting used to these forms, except Melusine and Tio, even if a little bit.
Tio did not really like the feeling of a possible enemy that seduced Satoru, because the girl had the same aura m as those winged bastards. She might be wrong, but there might be a time where they would fight each other.
The girl that was riding her back had used both a great sword and a literal fishing rod, and both were devastating in their own right. She wore a battle dress that was mostly made of the same metal, it seemed to cover most of her body, except her legs, which had long, blue stockings and long metal boots. Her private parts were covered by a leotard.
Tio was distracted by thinking about Satoru's preferences, but quickly regained her focus as she dodged a few blasts from the mana beasts and counterattacked with a powerful breath of black fire.
"Sparkling Laser!" A magical girl shouted, firing a powerful beam of light that pierced through hundreds of mana beasts, before parrying an attack from behind.
"Rider Punch!" Several Armored Riders shouted and combined their punches to create a massive shockwave that blasted away hundreds of mana beasts.
Before they realized it, they had all fought for 25 minutes straight. And at this moment, around 17,000 mana beasts were killed by them, though they were not safe from gaining injuries (for Tio and Melusine, barely any injuries) from the attacks of the mana beasts.
The male students treated this as if it was some sort of contest, until at this point of time when they notice that they are becoming tired and exhausted.
Nana, Taeko, and Yuka were suddenly forced out of their transformations, and Nana, who was at midair, started to fall.
"KyaaAAAA!?" She was startled, because suddenly being brought out from her transformation was barely expected to come.
Nobody was close enough to be able to save her, except for a certain transformed pale skinned student.
He was quick to react, jumping up and then catching Nana midair, he safely landed on the ground with the untransformed Magical Girl, before kicking one mana beast away.
"You alright?" Shimizu asked, his classmate on his arms, who instinctively held tightly on him. Both were flustered with such an action, but in the middle of a battle, they had to keep fighting.
Shimizu put his classmate down, and took on a fighting stance. The light of the morning sun reflecting from his visor, fists clenching, heavily breathing, yet still persisting.
Back at the town, 200 meters away....
"Satoru...." Aiko looked at the brown haired man, pleading for an action from him.
"Well, this might look anticlimactic. But if you insist...." He replied, stretching his arms with a straight face.
A golden array appeared above his left hand, and in the middle of it, was the silver hilt of a sword. Satoru grabbed the hilt, and the array moved up to reveal a silver sword that emitted power. It's blade was long, but it was glowing in a silver light.
"Arianrod, a sword that I forged several (hundred) years ago. A magical, enchanted silver sword that might not be as strong as the strongest of my arsenal, but it definitely will get the job done." Satoru explained for a moment, before he leaped up high on the air, closing the distance between him and the mana beasts, passing through his students and both Tio and Melusine and to the middle of thousands of monsters. The soldiers and mages who stayed weren't terrified, they were more or less at awe as powerful wind blew on their bodies, they were able to resist the wind, but Aiko had simply fell on her butt.
"Time to go with a classical move, then." He continued, raising Arianrod above his head, ready for a powerful downwards attack with a grin on his face. The sword, now filled with Satoru's mana, was about to be used again after hundreds of years. He looked more like a shooting star at this moment.
"Satoru! Shining! ATTACK!"

Extra Information:
Arianrod - A sword that is around 150 cm in length and a massive 50 cm cross guard. It's blade, though normally silver in color, would always glow with energy when unused, as if it was recharging. It's a classic sword that Satoru wields during his early times as a "slightly" perverted hero. It might be weak, but it cannot be compared to the weaker enchanted weapons that Satoru formerly wielded. Originally a very rusted sword. It is unknown how the rust came off when Satoru started to wield it.
