Sharing Time

The big thrown out by Cassie made Scarlett so upset. However, she is not entirely angry with Cassie, because Cassie is a close friend who is always there for Scarlett. She also went back to the house to rest. It felt like his body was almost crushed because of the honeymoon trip. At least, the souvenirs she bought for the employees have all been given away. Now, just taking a break from work is very mind-consuming and energy-consuming.

Scarlett drove the car at a moderate speed, not forgetting to tune a relaxing song to accompany her journey. After a few minutes of driving, Scarlett arrived at her home and immediately parked the car in the garage.

"Good morning, Mrs. Dominic."

A waiter greeted Scarlett's arrival very kindly. Scarlett smiled and sat down on a soft sofa in the living room.

"Can you make me orange juice, Lucy?"

Lucy nodded and immediately made the orange juice to Scarlett. As usual, she fiddled with her mobile phone, opened one of her social media accounts.

"It's so fast that this news spreads, huh?"

Scarlett smiled wryly. Even every activity she did was in the spotlight in various media. Including their honeymoon plan. 

"Thankfully, they don't assume that this marriage is just a contract," Scarlett muttered.

She put her phone back and picked up the magazine that was on the table. Read in silence and slowly turn each page sheet. 

"This is the juice, madam," Lucy told Scarlett.

"Thank you, Lucy."

"You're welcome, madam. I say goodbye to the back first."

Scarlett nodded and drank the orange juice to the point. She was really very thirsty. So, don't blame yourself if the orange juice runs out instantly. Feeling bored with her activities. Scarlett returned the glass to the kitchen and was about to visit Ainsley's house to play with James.

"Good morning," Scarlett said when she reached the door of Ainsley's house.

Scarlett waited for the door to be opened after a few seconds. The door opened wide, showing Ainsley and James drinking milk.

"Ah... as it turned out, Mrs. Dominic. Please come in."

"Thank you," Scarlett said. She also entered Ainsley's house at the same time as Ainsley and James. 

"Please sit down."

Scarlett nodded. "In order to be more familiar, just call it scarlett."

"Alright," Ainsley smiled kindly.

"In a while, I will provide snacks for you."

"No need to bother, Ainsley."

"Don't bother at all. Wait, a minute."

"Alright, but James, let it be with me," Scarlett said.

Ainsley laughed and told James to play with Scarlett. Likewise, with James, who was so enthusiastic about Scarlett's willingness to go to her house.

"How's it going, James?"

"Of course it's good."

James just ran over suddenly. He wanted to show Scarlett his new toy. Seeing that naturally made Scarlett very happy. This kid can even greet her like the closest family. 

"Look at this, Auntie. Dad bought this robot yesterday. Good?"

James' enthusiasm was able to relieve Scarlett's fatigue and boredom. Happily, Scarlett played with the child. They laughed cheerfully, even if there was someone who didn't know them. Others will think that they are a mother and son. In fact, they have only met twice, but the chemistry built is so strong.

On the other side, Ainsley started from a distance. She smiled, feeling happy if her son could get along with Scarlett. Because James is a child who finds it difficult to blend in with strangers. However, with Scarlett, he can blend in easily.

Ainsley resumed his activities, cooking cakes and several other snacks. Let's just say if today she is welcoming an important guest. But, before the cake is cooked. Ainsley asked her servant to serve drinks and light snacks that were already available.

"Wow... you're so smart, James," Scarlett praised when she saw James assembling a house out of legos. Although there are more luxurious toys like that robot. James still chose to play lego. It is certain that this child has creative thinking.

"Auntie should help James," 

James stood up and pulled Scarlett's hand to be close to her. The child seemed to be taught how to assemble a house from legos. Like a mother, Scarlett acts as if she doesn't know, and lets James explain how to assemble the house. It will also help James' speech development, so that he can have qualified public speaking skills.

Scarlett is very happy to be able to play with a smart boy like James. Moreover, James is so friendly and adorable, anyone will not refuse to play with this kid.

"Wow... aunt Scarlett is great...."

James cheered cheering, he felt happy that Scarlett could follow what he was teaching. He also enthusiastically landed a hug for Scarlett. That indicates that James is very proud of the work made by Scarlett.

While Scarlett just laughed amusedly at James' behavior. This kid is really so amazing. He is able to give appreciation for the achievements of those around him. Scarlett can see if James will be a great one in the future.

"It seems that Mom is annoying, huh?"

Ainsley came over with a tart that had just been cooked. Scarlett glanced at the cake, so very charming. She also considered that Ainsley was good at cooking. Makes Scarlett want to learn how to cook.

"This is what you made yourself?" asked Scarlett, amazed by the cake Ainsley made. The cake is blue, with a layer of edible gold on the periphery. 

"Sure," Ainsley retorted kindly.

"Isn't this an exaggeration? You provide this all as if I were the most important guest."

"You are indeed an important person, Scarlett. Now sit down, and enjoy this cake."

Scarlett and James took up positions on that soft couch. Looking over, the shrewd Ainsley cut the cake with a special knife.

[It seems that I have to ask for the cake recipe.]

Ainsley served it and helped James to eat the cake. As usual, James always praised something made by Ainsley. It is true, the upbringing of a good person will definitely make the child good and smart, anyway.

"You're lucky to have a kid like James." 

Ainsley smiled at Scarlett. "You're also going to have a kid who's like James later. It just takes time, right?"

[How could I have children? This marriage alone is based on a contract alone?]

Scarlett smiled sadly, she felt sorry for herself. Recalling a few weeks ago, Dominic became her husband on the basis of revenge.

"In marriage, not everything goes smoothly. There will definitely be something that makes you fail. Moreover, we liken this marriage to a large ship that must be driven well by its captain. If the captain is an expert, the ship will continue to sail until it reaches a pier. However, if the captain is not an expert, the ship will sink. And don't forget that, the crew also played a role in assisting the captain in sailing."

Scarlett nodded, sentence after sentence thrown out by Ainslye was able to make her a little calmer. It only took time for Scarlett to be able to find the actual captain.
