Keep-sake

"I guess your sword recognized the evil in your life before you could notice him." William said, clicking his tongue against his teeth while shaking his head.

'Why?' Ashton asked himself in his thoughts. His eyes were bored into that of Ercan's and both couldn't look away. Ercan was probably trying to say something to him but the spell William had bound him by was restricting him from voicing out a word.

The look in his eyes said to Ashton, "You don't have to blame yourself for this…it is not your fault, Ashton, it is not your will I know that. Don't blame yourself for this evil…I am fine with whatever you choose to do to me in the end.'

Tears filled Ashton's eyes in a moment as he continued looking into Ercan's eyes. He felt pain, anguish and anger all at once. It was as if he was the one who got a sword perched through his heart. Ercan coughed up more blood and it splashed on Ashton's hand, his sword was washing itself in his blood as it etched in.
