He really wanted them all, but Su Shu was an outsider after all. Would anyone really be willing to part with so many medicinal supplies?
Su Shu said, "This is all I have. I'm not sure if it'll last until rescue arrives."
"This is already a lot, thank you, thank you!"
The village doctor kept thanking her. The villagers waiting for treatment around them could hear their conversation and knew how precious the three boxes of medicine were. They all thanked Su Shu, who kept saying it was nothing, and, after mentioning she hadn't expected her reserves to be of help, she started helping the village doctor dress simple wounds.
The village doctor, seeing her skillful bandaging, was surprised, "Miss Su, are you a nurse?"
"I'm not, I don't know medical techniques," she replied as she bandaged a villager who had head injuries treated by another village doctor.
"I thought you might be medical personnel, seeing how skillful you are at bandaging."
