Anurak, Let Me Love You!

When Anurak was young, his father became a toyboy for a gang leader and even abandoned his family for another woman. His mother died when he was 10. But before her death, she had planted some notions into his mind. Notions that gay men are husband snatchers and evil. Notions that a true man can only depend on himself. Notions that a man can only love one woman. These notions turned Anurak into an overly sensitive young boy, who would rather suffer in silence than ask for help. He would rather wallow in confusion than ask questions. Because he didn't want to disappoint his late mother, he tried his best to adhere to her principles. Things were fine until he entered the university. First, gay men lurked everywhere he turned to and the sight of them made it very hard for him to keep ignoring his true feelings. Then his girlfriend broke up with him and the only man who made him tempted enough to break his principles decided to force things. --------------------------------------------------------------------- WARNING: This is a coming-of-age story about a Bisexual young man. So, His name is Tharn!

Moonlight Bar/club is housed in a cubic-shaped building with a futuristic geometric design. The exterior is a mixture of black and dark red colors. It has a low French fence that separates it from the street walkway.

While in the compound, one can see many cars, parked under a large and long gazebo that extends inward.

The entrance to the bar is different from the entrance to the club. One can access the bar directly, once you enter the compound, but to get to the club, one will need to walk to the back of the building.

When Anurak and New arrived, they met a long queue of people who were trying to enter the club. The line had extended to the gate from the back of the building.

"What are they lining up for?" Anurak asked.

"They are going to the club. The entrance is behind the building."

"People club on Mondays too?"

Anurak was shocked. Where he came from, clubs were always empty until the weekends.

"I think it's the area. Most of the patrons are from our school."

The lineup was on the right side of the building, while the car park occupies the left side.

New drove in and found a place to park his Benz. Just as they were getting out of the car, Anurak heard a muffled sound. He paused and tried to find where the voice was coming from.

"Did you hear that?" He asked New.

"Yes. It could be sex." New shrugged and continued to check his car lock.

Anurak on the other hand, grew curious. He has been in too many fights to know when life was being snuffed out of someone. He diligently listened and followed the voice.

Four cars from where New was parked, he found what he was looking for. Two boys were trying to tie a third one up. They already got him gagged. All that remained was for them to tie his legs and hands. One of the guys was holding him from the back with his arms securely wrapped around their victim, while the other one squatted in front of their victim and was trying to get the guy to stay still, so he could tie his legs up.

The victim was fighting for his life. He couldn't move any other part of his body except for his legs. He was tossing them and trying to use them to kick the guy attempting to grab them. The guy had just kicked him in his stomach when Anurak and New arrived. The groan New mistook for sensual moaning was because of the pain from the guy's kick. Now he was winded and couldn't even lift his head. He watched in despair as his attacker tied his legs up. All he could do was try to speak through the gag. He was begging, but his voice was muffled and distorted. This was what led Anurak to them.

"Mm mm!" Anurak cleared his throat, startling them.

The guy squatting got up and brought out a knife. "If you know what's good for you, scram!"

"Anurak, let's go."

New, who had followed Anurak, gently tugged at his shirt. He didn't look scared, but he would rather not poke his nose into what wasn't his business.

"Really? You are just going to see this and walk away?"

Anurak was shocked. He would understand if New was scared, but it was clear that he wasn't. He just didn't care. He was so used to News's carefree attitude that this new side of the guy took him by surprise.

New didn't like the way Anurak looked at him. He suddenly felt as if he had something to prove. He shrugged and stepped forward, facing the guy with the knife with a stern look. "I will owe you a favor."

The knife guy looked him over with disdain. "Your favors are worth shit on the street."

New's brows slightly went up at those words.

"What do you want?"

The guy's eyes darted to New's wristwatch. It was a Rolex, embedded with stones. A solid 15 carats worth of diamonds.

"Are you sure you want to piss me off?" News snarled as he pierced the guy's gaze with a deadly look, making him feel a chill go up his spine.

Someone who can go around with that on his wrist is not a regular person. The guy reasoned with himself.

"You owe me two favors." There was no trace of the fear he felt in his voice.

New opened his wallet and brought out a silver business card. He wordlessly handed it over to the guy, who then signaled to his partner. The partner instantly released their victim, who then fell to the ground with a low turd.

New made way and the two thugs went past him.

Amtrak was shocked at the turn of events and hurried to the guy on the floor.

He squatted beside him and checked his body for any injury. Finding none, he signed with relief and then started untying the guy.

"They are gone now. How are you feeling? Are you hurt?" He asked worriedly.

"What do you think?" The guy groaned.

"You speak to him nicely, or you would prefer those guys to me," New grunted in anger.

The hurt guy ignored New. Anurak rolled his eyes at New before helping him up.

The guy rested his body on the car on his left. He was still holding his abdomen. It was difficult for him to stand upright, and his hair had fallen over his face, covering it.

Anurak bent down, trying to get a good look at the guy. "Can you walk?" He asked.

In response, the hurt guy shook his head in the negative. He then brought his phone out of his pocket. He dialed a number and the recipient picked it up immediately.

"Where the fuck are you? How dare you keep me waiting, bitch?" The voice grunted in anger. It was deep and scary.

Probably because the night was quiet and still, Anurak and New could faintly hear the words coming from the phone.

Frowning, Anurak wanted to talk, but he felt New's hand squeezing his shoulders, so he clamped his mouth shut.

Hearing those harsh words, the boy sniffed and tears started flowing down his face. Even though he was not loud, Anurak knew he was crying.

"Phi… I am…at the car park… I was…attacked." The hurt boy managed to say in-between sobs.

The person on the other side disconnected the call and the hurt guy's shoulders started shaking. His sob was wrecking his frame.

"Maybe you should sit down." Anurak urged. His eyes were full of pity and worry.

The guy nodded but rested against the car instead…

The moment New set his eyes on the guy Anurak forced him to help, his eyes became dark, but he suppressed his anger because he didn't want Anurak to notice anything.

This was someone New didn't want to have anything to do with. He was the same person whose face wouldn't leave New alone.

While quietly observing them from the sideline, New realized he had been mixing this guy and Anurak up subconsciously.

His height, body frame, and smile were similar to Anurak's, and New had found himself treating Anurak with the same care he used to extend to this guy. Now that he was seeing them side by side, he found that they were different in many ways.

Anurak has more presence and elegance than this guy, who is always looking like a beauty in distress.

While this guy appears cute, coquettish, and weak, Anurak appears cute and coquettish, but nothing about him is weak.

This guy tends to need attention, while Anurak seems to shy away from attention and was even embarrassed at how New was trying to take care of him.

The only definitive similarity between them was that they were both effeminate.

… But unlike him, Anurak also oozes masculine aura.

Maybe this is why I am attracted to him. His aura is messed up. One minute he is like a cute cuddly cat and the next minute, he is like a strong panther, snarling and barring his sharp claws. How can male and female attributes belong to just one person?

Anyway, now that I have seen the differences, things shouldn't be weird between me and Anurak again. I have to pay more attention to my instinct. I can't believe I have been mixing them up.

New was deep in thought as he observed these two when he heard the words on the phone. It instantly woke him up.

Yeah, I should leave. I don't just hate his gut, but I have also promised not to go anywhere near him.

Seeing that Anurak still wanted to help the guy, he placed his hand on Anurak's shoulder and squeezed it.

"We should leave. He will be fine." New squeezed Anurak's shoulders again to show his seriousness.

The hurt guy lifted his head slowly, looking past Anurak. He met New's eyes. "Thank you." He groaned.

"You should thank him. It has nothing to do with me." New rolled his eyes.

The guy wanted to give a retort, but he changed his mind and turned to Anurak. "Thank you."

"It's nothing." Anurak gave him a gentle smile.

"Tharn!" A deep grunt invaded the silent night.

New and Anurak followed the voice and found a tall, good-looking guy in an unbuttoned shirt, running towards them.

"So, his name is Tharn," Anurak noted inwardly.

On hearing that voice, the hurt guy stood up straight and tried to move.

Anurak quickly held his arm and helped him move.

"Thanks." He muttered under his breath. His face was grim with pain.

"You! Didn't I warn you to stay away from my babe?" The just-arrived guy yelled at New.

New clenched his fists but instantly took 5 steps, backing away from the approaching guy.

"It wasn't me." He quickly said, sounding cautious.
