#08 Returning the Favour

"Amanda tends to pretend as if nothing happened when she's trying to avoid answering a question. You have a lot of secrets, don't you?"

Pretend like nothing happened to avoid the question, huh… Wait, isn't that normal to anyone?

Still, the fact that Mia noticed I was hiding secrets from her gave me chills. It's not like I could reveal everything right now, right here. Would all my efforts for the past years go to waste? It's called a secret for a reason, so I should think of a way out.

Like Mia said, I pretend as if nothing happened when I'm trying to avoid a question. The same goes for this. She's asking if I had kept tons of secrets from her, and I'm avoiding her question now.

"Aren't you hungry? Let's get some snacks," I successfully avoided the question completely and we never brought up that topic ever again. Well, since it benefits the both of us too.

"Let's go," Mia said in response.
