The Plan

"What do you think that the adults are talking about?" asked Maddie as she climbed into bed.

She braided her hair into a long ponytail, and she changed into her cat pajamas that she got from Anthony for her 13th Birthday, she only wore them on special occasions, and today seemed to be one them.

"I have no idea" said Annie

"It seems that lately we have been left in the dark a lot" said Maddie as she laughed.

"That is true, but anyway, we better not trouble our heads over what is happening, they will tell us sooner or later" said Annie as she decided that today's drama was enough for her, she needed a break.

From watching Curtis and Maddie battle it out in chess, to finding a mind controlled, enchanted zombie Matt, to almost getting eaten by mud, to getting a scolding from her mom, and Aunt Luc, to sum it up, she was beyond tired.

"Okay alright, I agree with that, we do need a break" said Maddie

"Besides, I don't think that they would discuss anything new, I probably think that they will talk about the vampires seeing as Aunt Lucinda, Uncle Lucas and Uncle Jacob, brought many of them along with them" said Annie as she yawned, she was getting sleepy.

"Oh yeah, that is true" said Maddie.

"You know what surprises me?" said Maddie

"What?" asked Annie

"The fact that Aunt Bella is the only one missing" said Maddie

"Oooh true true, maybe she's busy" said Annie

"Maybe, but you know the funniest part of this entire day" said Maddie

"No?? what is the funniest part?" asked Annie

"Your face when Aunt Luc asked what was wrong" said Maddie as she burst into laughter.

Annie did not look surprised, she had a neutral "you cannot be serious" kind of look on his face.

"I cannot believe you right now" said Annie as she sighed.

"No because your face looked so panicked, you seriously did not want to get into trouble with her" said Maddie as she laughed.

"Gosh Maddie" said Annie

"No what?? it's only fair, I almost got in trouble with your mom, and you almost got in trouble with Aunt Luc, it's a balanced equation" said Maddie

"You know what Maddie, I seriously cannot deal with this right now" said Annie as she yawned between her words.

"Awww you sound so cute like a baby kitty" said Maddie as she laughed.

"No I do not" said Annie as she yawned yet again.

"Oh yes you do" said Maddie

"Maddie I can deal with your kitty pajamas but I think that they are making you see kitty things" said Annie as she yawned once again.

"Well for your information, these kitty pajamas are magical" said Maddie

"Okay then, whatever you say" said Annie as she yawned, and this time tears came out of her eyes.

"Awww my little Annie is tired" said Maddie as she laughed."

"Since when was I your little Annie?" asked Annie as she rubbed her eyes, they were getting heavy.

"What do you mean?? of course you are my little Annie, I am older than you of course" said Maddie

"Yes you are older than me, by a single year" said Annie

"Whatever you say" said Maddie

"Anyway you can go to sleep now my dear little Annie" said Maddie

"Well I do not have the energy to refute you right now, so goodnight" said Annie as she placed her head to rest on her pillow.

"Goodnight Annie, have sweet dreams" said Maddie as she smiled.

"Mhmm you too Maddie" said Annie as she closed her eyes and fell into slumber.

Meanwhile back in Stella's Office.

Stella, Lucinda, Lucas, Jacob, Lisa, John, and Curtis were all seated, they had serious looks on their face, it looked like they had something very important to discuss.

"So what is the plan?" asked Mr. Grey

"Well Lucinda, Lucas and Jacob, have brought us a possible solution" said Stella

"Which are?" asked Lisa

"Which are more allies" said Stella

"As King Henry our ally, has generously sent us some of his soldiers, we are now able to join forces and fight Azazel directly" said Stella

"So what do you have in mind?" asked Curtis as he finally spoke up.

"We cannot take any chances of letting Azazel get the upper hand, we need to strike now, we have all learnt out lesson from the first time we were quiet and we allowed Azazel a chance to strike, but not this time" said Stella as she was dead serious, she was fed up to the point of just wanting to get this over and done with.

"Which is why we need to give him and his witches no time to recover" said Stella

"And Commander Jacob as so generously prepared a battle plan for us" said Stella as she looked at Jacob.

"Commander Jacob over to you" said Stella

"Thank you Vice Chancellor" said Jacob as he nodded and stood up.

"According to the information I was provided with, Azazel's camp is situated round here" said Jacob as he tapped on a round table and a hologram appeared, and it showed the plain of Kadama from above.

"And our camp is over here" said Jacob as he pointed to another place on the table.

"Ironically we are located exactly across each other" said Jacob as he pointed that fact out.

Azazel's camp was in the far east, while their own camp was located in the far west.

"As we can see from the locations it would be easy to send potion bombs, or whatever you might, from a cannon" said Jacob

"If we were to start with an air attack to break their defenses and then we strike with soldiers on the ground, we would have more chance of catching them off guard, they would not expect a double attack, and especially at this point in time, considering that we have been quiet all along" said Jacob.

"I see, so when do you want to do all this?" asked John.

"Well tomorrow, as the Vice Chancellor has said" said Jacob.

"Tomorrow, don't you think that this is a bit too quick?" asked Lisa as she was concerned.

"Lisa dear, I understand your concern" said Stella

"But the sooner we strike the better" said Stella

"But I think that it's too dangerous" said Lisa

"I agree with Lisa" said Curtis

"Who's to say that Azazel will not probably strike back" said Curtis

"I understand your worry, and concern of safety for the children especially, but do not fear, I have a plan" said Stella

"If you say so Stella, we believe you" said John.

"Thank you" said Stella as she smiled.

"Well that was all that I wanted to discuss" said Stella

"We will see tomorrow" said Stella

"Okay then, Goodnight everyone" said Lisa as she stood up and got ready to leave.

"Goodnight Lisa" said Stella and everyone else.

"Goodnight" said John as he followed after Lisa

"Goodnight" said everyone.

"Well see you all tomorrow" said Curtis as he stood up.

"See you Curtis" said Stella, as Curtis left, leaving only Lucas, Lucinda, Jacob and Stella.

"Well then our serious conversation is over, now time for some catch up" said Stella as her serious countenance changed and she smiled.

"Where is Bella?" asked Stella

"Well Vice Chancellor" said Jacob.

"No need for the formalities Jacob, you are family now, just call me Stella" said Stella as she smiled.

"Well then Stella, I advised that she stay behind, things could get very dangerous here, we are on the battlefield after all" replied Jacob.

"Ahh I see, I admire the Love you have for her" said Stella as she smiled.

"Thank you Stella" said Jacob as he smiled back.

"Well then Jake, let us leave the ladies to catch up" said Lucas as he stood up.

"Okay then" said Jacob as he stood up.

"It was nice meeting you Stella" said Jacob

"Likewise" said Stella as she smiled.

"It is nice to see how much Jacob cares for Bella" said Stella as she smiled, after the men left.

"He does care for her, there is no doubt about that" said Lucinda

"Then how come you are over here while Bella is back home, didn't Lucas stop you from coming too?" asked Stella

"Well of course Bella listened to Jacob without question, they are just newly married" said Lucinda as she laughed.

"Besides, Lucas said the same thing, but he could not stop me from coming over here" said Lucinda

"This is my realm at war after all, and I want to be involved and help as much as I can" said Lucinda

"Lucas understands, if it was his realm at war he would not hesitate to go and join them and he knows that it is the exact same thing for me" said Lucinda.

"You two are a mature couple indeed" said Stella as she smiled.

Lucinda remembered the many stories and horror tales that she had heard about Azazel when she was still a child, the terrors and horrors of stories of his tales, she was sick of it, would his reign of terror continue till their next generations??

She hoped not, she hoped that it would end right here, right now.
