Chapter 10

"So you expect me to just trust him like that because he has apologised?" Asked Anne over the phone. She was talking to Lulu and she just told her about how Dani had apologised.But she also said about what Randy said to her and how she has to keep her guards up all the time.

"I'm just saying Anne,its not bad to give him a chance"Replied Lulu.According to her Anne was just being paranoid and over thinking the situation."Plus it won't be that bad dating the hottest guy don't forget an Anderson"said Lulu and immediately Anne retorted"First of all eeeeyew.Second of all you sound just like my mother.You want me to date because he's rich? And thirdly he only apologised he didn't ask me to be his girlfriend or anything"

"But if he asks will you say no to him?"Lulu asked and it was followed by long silence. Somehow Anne didn't understand why the question suddenly felt difficult to answer.She knew the answer was Yes but still her tongue didn't want to utter the word.

"And besides how was his attitude after apologising to you. Does he talk to you that much or make any gestures ?""Well he hasn't talked to me ever since because he hasn't reported to school since he apologised on Monday."said Anne and it was the truth.Since Monday when he saw him on the school gate he hasn't seen him for 3 days now.Its kinda odd but given his reputation and status Anne thought he could stop coming to school altogether and all the teachers would look the other way.

"Have you tried asking his friends?"Lulu asked on the other line and Anne could just answer No.Well she has only seen Dani close to 3 people.Randy Rommy and one girl whose name she learnt was Rhoda. Randy and Dani don't talk and she can't just face the other two because first they don't know her and second why would they tell her.So she just kept quite and continued with her other activities.

The two girls continued talking and gossiping till late at night and then she fell asleep. But the moment she fell asleep she started dreaming and the dream was about Dani.They were in a very tall modern building.In a room at the topmost floors.He was standing there, a few feet from her and he was starring at her with those blue eyes that matched the shirt he was wearing. He also wore a simple jeans and snickers while she was wearing a black mini princess like dress that stopped right bellow her knee.Then he started to move taking small steps towards her. She didn't know why but her heart started beating fast and she got anxious.He then stopped right infront of her,stretched out his hand and in it was a pretty nice bouquet of red roses and white tulips with a note inside.He looked at him and he signalled her to receive the bouquet and read the note.And just as she was about to open the note she felt a small pain in her neck and then its intensity started increasing until it was unbearable so she decided to open her heavy eyes and she was met with the image of her mom screaming and shouting.

"Anne for goodness sake if you don't wake up now you're gonna be late for school.Now get up and go get ready we leave in 20 mins."And with that she turned and went downstairs.But Anne was still in a daze,She was dreaming about him.Of all people why Daniel Anderson?Shaking her head and the crazy thoughts she decided it was just a dream that won't happen.Never Ever.

"Something bugging you my dear?"asked Amanda.She noticed Anne wasn't herself today she keeps starring at nothing.

"Nothing Amanda I just have a lot on my mind.Exams next week and i have to study a lot so thank you for the breakfast and see you later"Anne said standing up."Your mum left quite early but she said shell come back early.She has somethings to discus with you"Said Amanda flashing a smile. Anne just nodded and headed towards the black SUV packed outside.The ride to school was quite.Anne was thinking of asking Dani's friends about his whereabouts.But after much thought thought she decided against it.As she arrived at school she found a familiar figure waiting in the parking lot. It was Randy.He's been somewhat of her best friend at school.

"Good morning"Said Randy with his hands in his pocket. He always look cool doing that making Anne wonder if its his signature pose. "Good morning.Glad to see you fine"Answered Anne while heading into the school.Randy just follows her inside but not without noticing peoples gazes on them.Anne didn't like it because it brought unwanted attention to her.Almost a dozen of the girls in her classroom hate her because they think she is going out with Randy,something which is not true in reality.Although they have grown quite close She only considers him as a friend.

"So see you at Lunch.And today its my treat so don't be late"Said Randy as Anne was getting into class.She nodded her head and entered the class.As usual the class was noisy,people gossiping here and there and others making out.And at the corner of her eyes she saw Rommy.He was typing something in his phone and she couldn't help but adore him.she has no ill intentions but the way he was crafted perfect abs muscle perfect hair skin and a good body structure.He was an 8/10 kind of guy.Infact she was so caught up in admiring Rommy she didn't see the approaching Rhoda.

"Easy there new girl or this jealous girl is gonna have to beat you up"said Rhoda startling Anne.She didn't know what to answer. One wrong answer and she could receive the beating of her life.

"Its not what it looks like. I was only looking at him because i wanted to ask about Daniel.I mean he hasnt come to school in a while i wanted to know if he was alright?""Daniels fine.He is out of town with his Dad doing some business stuff but he will be back before the exams commence."Rhoda answered back with a grin.She was suprised that Anne was asking about Daniel. Did she miss him that much?
