Chapter 73 :- Festival Celebration

Hiro and Hiroshi decided to take a quick bath before meeting at the school gate. Hiroshi went to look for his phone , praying that it might have a little bit of battery left in it. Since there was no power outlet in the school , he would often use a solar panel to charge his phone thanks to his skills which he learnt during his high school days.

" Hiro go to the hot spring okay I will meet you there " said Hiroshi

" Ok " said Hiro as he staggered his way across the hall

Hiroshi grabbed his phone and tried to switch it on

" Come on baby please start " he murmured

< Welcome... Warning! 5% battery remaining>

" Oh shit " said Hiroshi

He grabbed his solar cells and tried charging his phone.

< Welcome... Charging 5% >

" Phew " said Hiroshi

Hiroshi decided to go through his call logs and messages

< Mr Weasley (16) new messages> A notification popped on Hiroshi screen

" Well I'll call him after the Festival , my phone will also be charged enough " said Hiroshi as he left his room.

< 14 missed calls , (5) new messages from Jin , (4) new notifications from Google maps >

message popped on Hiroshi phone.

Hiro struggled to get into the changing room. As he was struggling, he was greeted by Jetchi and Ryo who helped him change his clothes and get him ready for bath. Hiroshi soon arrived at the changing room as well. They all had a talk and went for the spring. Everyone one by one jumped into the water except Hiro.

" C'mon Hiro...jump " said Ryo

" Yeah that's a great idea " said Hiro

" IF I WASN'T INJURED YOU IDIOT "shouted Hiro

" Think fast " shouted someone from behind

" Who tf " shouted Hiro as he was pushed into the spring.

" Kazuki - 2 , Hiro - 0 " smirked Kazuki

" You idiot can't you see my leg is fucking broken ? " said Hiro

" But you are fine " said Ryo

" Huh??? " said Hiro as he was standing without a problem.

" Water here has healing properties , with your animal spirit , Mimiko and Kanako healing and this water combined , your body healing ability increased. Now any injury that would take 1 week to recover would take you 3-4 days " said Ryo as he rubbed his nose ( flexing his in depth knowledge).

They all laughed and got ready for the festival.

" Lol , Hiro what will we wear " said Hiroshi

" I don't know bro , let's ask grandpa , he must've arranged something for you both" said Ryo.

" Ummhmmm " grunted Kanako and Mimiko waiting for them at the door of changing room

where they had dresses for Hiro and Hiroshi respectively.

" Grandpa send them for you " said Kanako

Kanako inevitably got a crush on Hiro since the last time he saved her life , but due to being shy and trying to maintaining her strong demeanor , she neglect and denies the fact that she have developed a crush on Hiro.

" Are you blushing " asked Mimiko

" No... " said Kanako as she closed her eyes to avoid looking at Hiro's body.

" Thank you " said Hiro and Hiroshi together

They changed and met at the school gate.

They all wore traditional Japanese Kimono with handwork of Cantonese silk and artwork resembling Indian weaving style. Kanako and Mimiko wore Baby pink and Pink respectively , meanwhile the Hiro , Hiroshi , Kazuki , Ryo and Jetchi wore Red , Blue , Brown , Cream and Peach coloured Kimono respectively.

" Let's go , Grandpa will be late , he is already at the festival for the Village head meeting " said Ryo.

" Who knows the way " asked Hiro

" Follow my lead " said Jetchi as they all followed him to the village.

" So is it down the mountain " asked Hiro

" Yeah it's like a 15 minute Track from village to school and like 30 minutes track to the temple " said Kanako

" Here are we guys " said Ryo as he pointed at the bright light coming from a far distance.

" As in many cultures, the Japanese have believed that fire has sacred power. Various fire festivals are born seeking purification by fire, reinforcement of spiritual power by fire and so on. Its history is old and lasts more than 1000 years " message was written at the entrance.

" The characteristics of our fire festival is intensely dangerous, such as using huge torches, or jumping on the fire or walk on the ashes. This is also a fantastic cultural festival where you can experience the beauty of fire " said someone from behind

" Who is there , show yourself " shouted Kazuki as he took his fighting stance.

" This Festival is anything that gives the essence in history, sacred things, dangerous things, beautiful things and so on. Alone, with your friends, with family, with your partner, please try to experience various fire festivals and have a wonderful cultural exchange " the voice added.

" Who the fuck " said Hiro

The two figure tapped Hiro shoulder from behind. As the cold hand touched Hiro's shoulder , he shrieked and jumped on Kanako , who barely was able to hold him still.

" Oh my God " said Hiroshi as he seeked behind Hiro.
