20: First Lesson (2)

"Thunderbirds are prideful creatures, the flapping wings of Thunderbird can create huge amounts of lightning, a screech of a Thunderbird sounds like the thunder, because of these two factors it received the name Thunderbird." Azes, sitting on the head of his black scaled Runespoor, looked down at his students while brushing Hyrio's scales with a broom. He was cleaning it with soap, water, and a good rubbing and at the same time, he was giving a lecture! "Left head," Azes said while jumping towards the left head and at the same time the Runespoor moved its left head, catching Azes mid-air. Some students were really surprised to see this happen, what if the teacher has fallen? He is more than 30 feet (9 Meters) up! Azes seemed to notice their shock or surprise at least and smiled a little bit.

"One of the most important things you need to earn and have is respect. What you want is respect, from humans and beasts alike. What they want is also your respect, so, if you respect them they will respect you... Almost all of them. Be careful with some of them." Azes tapped on the scales with the broom two times, Hyrio slowly lowered its head to the ground and Azes jumped from it. "So, questions?" Azes looked at his class, he was really hoping that they had questions so he could answer them. Or just ask him to show them his beasts because he loves to show them off! Mewy, his Wampus Cat, is a really prideful girl, what makes her cuter than ever! "Professor." At the same time, two rose their hands. Azes looked at them and smiled a little bit, Newt Scamander and Leta Lestrange raised their hands at the same time and asked for him.

"Why don't we do the ladies first thingy?" Ares asked Newt, who just nodded and waited. Azes nodded to Leta who smiled and said: "Can we see your beasts?" Her were practically sparkling, she was really excited to see them! Azes laughed, with his hand on his chin, making a thinking position: "Hm... Okay. But I will need some time though." Azes winked at his class and the hat on his head dropped and his body vanished. Azekel landed on top of the hat and stayed there. Some seconds later, the hat fell to the side and started to enlarge, becoming 10× its size. From the giant hole of the top hat, Azes walked out, he playfully said: "Respectable public! Today, we have for your entertainment, them!" From the hat, several creatures started to walk out.

The first noticeable creature was Nulu the Nundu, his dark skin and thorns growing out of his body were very eye-catching. He was being followed by two other Nundus, one of them was an adult female Nundu, Nulu's mate! Her name is Nala (Can you feel the love tonight?) and the third Nundu is a small cub, it was Nulu's and Nala's cub, a small male Nundu named Nez. Following behind Nulu, Nala, and Nez were three big Dragons. Stunt, Stant, and Stint. Stunt was Azes' Ukrainian Ironbelly, Stant is Azes' Hebridean Black Dragon, and Stint is Azes' Swedish Short-Snout Dragon. These three dragons attracted a lot of attention because it's not every day you see a Dragon! Behind Stunt, Stant, and Stint, Mewy followed. Mewy was Azes' Wampus Cat, she was a big panter-like feline with light brown fur and purple shining eyes, her eyes can hypnotize and also has the capability of using Legimency.

Behind Mewy, Abyss followed closely. When the three-headed dog peaked from behind the big hat, all the students were stunned by Azes' collection of giant beasts and rare beasts. Graphorns, Erumpents, Bowtruckles, Vampire Bunnies, and Nifflers! Thestrals also following close. Azes would point to each beast, saying the name of it, and make it return to the hat. Until his Manticore came out, his name was Brutus and he had the personality of a dog. He was more doggy-like than Abyss herself, and Abyss is literally a dog! Next was a huge ass snake, a Basilisk. Basilisks do not have a gender, but they like to be called him/her, Azes' Basilisk identifies as a male, and his name is Henry. This name was given by Azes, so you know, he isn't so good with names... A Basilisk has two pupils, one is to close its eyes completely and the other is to look at someone without giving them the death stare.

Right after the Basilisk came Azes' Unicorn, Pure. It's a simple name, but it fits. Next was his Griffin, Hipogriffin, Golden Snidgets, and next came all his four breeds of Winged Horses. After the Winged Horses, Azes brought out his Kelpie named Nessy, his Kelpie had the form a huge ass sea serpent, because it is the Nessie Lake monster! Azes took him out using a bubble of water, making it float up while he swam on it. Beside him, another water bubble floated, but this one had a Hippocampus (Sea Horse) named Pegasus. Billywigs went next followed by Diricawls, Nixies, Pixies, a single Demiguise named Poru, a group of three Matagots named Xux, Xax, and Xex, a Tebo named Pumba, and a Horned Serpent named Fily.

After Azes showed them almost all his beasts that reentered the hat, back to their habitats, he tapped his coat and said: "And at last but not least, a Lethifold." His coat moved around and floated up, leaving Azes on the ground. "All these creatures that I presented to you are dangerous when provoked or when given the opportunity to attack. So I will teach you all how to respect such creatures and how to defend yourself from them if necessary. Now off you go, and I want to see in the next lecture each one of you with a parchment written your name and at least 5 things you know about 10 of the creatures i showed today." After saying that, Azes returned to the tree he was before the lecture started and continued to read the book, waiting for his Gryffindors and Ravenclaws, today was the first day but also the only one where he needs to teach all four houses.
