Chapter 32

Alex was getting nervous with each increasing second. He was supposed to pacify not some villain there or a tipsy asshole looking for a tease, but his best friend.

“I don't care who you're dating! Do you understand, Michael? I'm not spying on you!”

“Well!” Slowly, Michael started to realize that he was behaving scandalously. “I had to know! Don’t you understand?”

Seeing the wild gleam in Alex’ eyes, he knew that his friend was preparing to attack. He saw him many times during a fight, cheering him on at competitions.

Looking at him straight in the eye, Michael was aware that he was going to end up on the floor at any moment, so he tried to justify his behavior, deep down hoping that his friend would not resort to such a drastic step.
