Ernest kept quiet but his eyes never left the digital screen.
After their last monster zone trip together, Zack has been acting alone all this time.
They knew Zack had been going to the monster zones from time to time. Since it's relatively safer monster zones, they didn't interfere in Zack's affairs.
On top of it, the Head of the Special Element Faction is in retreat. Which gives Zack a free schedule to act alone without having to ask for permission.
