Muspelheim[22]

The atmosphere turned for the worse, The Sect Master dropped his playful appearance and said.

"What's the meaning of this, Disciple?"

"You're asking me a question? I'm the one asking the questions here! You better confess about who the hell you are!"

Khan's eyes widened, for before he knew it, a Rune had already materialized around the Sect Master's body, Khan's eyes flashed in concentration, but before he could condense the energy to dissipate the Rune, a roaring sound echoed as a great force struck his body, sending him back towards the wall.

Lily's countenance paled, she glanced at the Sect Master and found that he wore a mocking smile as he glanced at Khan.

"You did really well for discovering me, young lad, or should I say, Khan Liverto?"

"!" Khan's shone with a deep glint, 'So he doesn't know my true identity?' Khan gave a small smile, as a golden light surrounded his body, he stirred his exhausted soul into action.

Feeling the surging might that came from Khan. The Sect Master wore an amused smile, he tapped on his arm as several Runes consecutively flashed in the air.

But amidst his shock, they dissipated into nothingness before they could even materialize. He looked at Khan with a disbelieving look on his face, but it was soon replaced with a look filled with avarice.

"Kid, to think that you're able to read the Rune's Invocation Sequence and disrupt its energy lines... I'm becoming even more interested towards you!" The Sect Master gave a hysterical laugh as he tapped on his Decipherer.

Khan's eyes focused on him, however, in the next instance, his pupils constricted for a humongous Rune appeared in the air, Khan didn't even have enough time to analyze its structure before it exploded into innumerable translucent butterflies.

"Butterfly Domain: Tempest of the Queen!" The Sect Master shouted as the translucent butterflies became sharp lights that pierced towards Khan.

"Bastard!" Khan roared, he bit the tip of his tongue and split a part of the golden light that enveloped his body, he ordered the other part to protect Lily while he utilized the last to make a barrier.

Crashing sounds echoed inside the room, thanks to the reinforced walls of the Headmaster Quarters, the people outside didn't seem to notice any disturbance.

Khan stood there, his back leaned on the wall, blood leaking from his lips. However, instead of groaning in pain, he wore a bloodthirsty smile, he licked the blood on his lips and said.

"If you think that this is enough to defeat me, then you're greatly wrong!" Khan flicked his wrist as the golden light that protected Lily formed a spear the flew towards the Sect Master.

Not expecting this sudden retaliation, the Sect Master panicked, but he managed to place a barrier and prevented the spear to pierce through.

However, his eyes widened for he felt a sense of imminent danger from behind. He was startled to find that Lily had already appeared behind him, her right fist enveloped in a green light.

"You dare to forget about my existence?!" Lily's complexion contorted into a rage, especially when she saw the miserable Khan leaning on the wall, although she still doesn't understand the situation, she knew that this man before them wasn't the Sect Master.

She felt a feedback on her fist, followed by a groan and an explosion. Lily's punch struck the Sect Master squarely on his face. The current Lily looked like a raging dragon as she stood there huffing and puffing in total rage.

A faint silhouette of an aquamarine dragon could be seen above her. Khan's eyes became filled with an incredulous light as he stared at Lily. He resolved himself to not provoke this little wife of his in the future, or else he would be beaten into a pighead.

The Sect Master groaned in pain, he stood up and looked at Lily with an amused smile.

"Of course I didn't forget about you, little princess."

Lily frowned and said, "Although I don't know what your purpose is, What I know is that you're possessing the Sect Master's body, you better get out or I'll beat you to a pulp!" Lily readied a stance and the faintly discernible aquamarine dragon enveloped her body in a protective stance.

"Interesting... Ever since you met that Khan over there, you really have grown... To think that I, Allan Serbin would be forced to use my true skills." The Sect Master removed his Decipherer amidst Lily's confused gaze.

Allan Serbin grasped the air before him as a jade sword materialized on his hand. Lily shivered, for the aura that surrounded the sword made her apprehensive. But in the next instant, her figure uncontrollably trembled, for she remembered a terrifying fact.

"Y-y-you're a Dragonslayer!" She continued to tremble as she pointed at Allan Serbin with a terrified expression on her face.

"Yeah, I possessed this guy's body to get close to you... Well, that's because you guys are so hard to be with, especially, you who wouldn't even bother to talk to strangers... And when I heard that the Sect Master of the so-called Divine Pills Sect sheltered the princess of a certain Dragon Race, I, of course, had to come you know? I can't let anyone else acquire that juicy core within your body..." Allan Serbin revealed his lips as he licked the edge of his sword.

"N-n-no..." The aquamarine dragon that protected her body dissipated into motes of light, as Lily fell on her backside, she just sat there and looked towards Allan with a despair-filled countenance.

Khan gritted his teeth, he glanced at Allan Serbin's hand and found that he wore the Sect Master's Spatial Ring. He took a drop of his blood from his lips and enveloped it with his soul energy, of which, he sent the drop of blood flying towards the Sect Master's Spatial Ring.

Allan Serbin didn't even notice the drop of blood sneaking towards his hand, but at the time that he noticed, everything was already too late for Khan had already embued his blood and his soul energy towards the ring.

"Divine Sword, come!" Khan roared as his soul felt a faint connection that sprung from the Spatial Ring, in the next instant, a golden glow materialized in the air followed by an excited humming of a sword.

The sword fell on Khan's palm and at this moment, the aura that surrounded Khan changed. The previous weakness that could be seen from his figure disappeared, replaced by an imposing might akin to an Emperor that stood at the apex.

Khan placed the Divine Sword on his shoulder, he glanced at Lily and ordered his soul energy to protect her with all of its might.

"Bastard that dares to desecrate the name of the Divine Pills Sect, receive your retribution!" A dazzling golden glow exploded from the Divine Sword that Khan held, Allan Serbin was startled to find that a golden sword materialized over his head.

"Wh-wh-wh-what is that?!" Allan Serbin frantically attacked the golden sword over his head but found that all of his attacks were useless. For the golden sword wasn't even a tangible existence.

"Divine Punishment: Soul Purge!" Khan roared and amidst Allan Serbin's despairing scream, the golden sword struck his body. The might that came from the sword dissipating his soul into nothingness, unable to even enter the cycle of reincarnation.

The brilliant golden light vanished, as tranquility once again descended into the room, the domineering might that enveloped Khan also disappeared as the golden glow from the sword dimmed.

Khan immediately ran towards Lily and found that the latter stared at the empty space with a blank look on her face. Khan condensed a drop of his soul energy and pushed it into her forehead.

With a groan, Lily's consciousness returned. As a member of the Dragon Race, their greatest bane was, of course, the Dragonslayers, especially their weapons that contained a power that suppressed their soul.

"Are you okay?"

"Mhmm..." Lily nodded, however, she still fell limp on Khan's arms, Khan examined her and found that she only suffered the after-effects of forceful soul suppression, she only needs to recuperate and she would be energetic once more.

'The more problematic one is...' Khan stared at the Sect Master, it became a huge headache for him for he doesn't know the timeframe where Allan Serbin had possessed the old man.

As for now, Khan had two major problems, one was the Sect Master and the other was the ongoing Entrance Examination. He sighed, thankfully, the walls of the room were reinforced so many times that not even a vibration would leak to the outside world, or else he would face more problems.

He took Lily's Exclusive Pass from her pocket and accessed the Control Panel. Since this room was called the Headmaster Quarters, it would, of course, have a bed.

A mechanical noise appeared, followed by a single bed that replaced the desk. Khan looked at the desk and pondered for a moment before putting Lily on the desk and leaving the Sect Master on the floor.

He embraced his little wife as she slept, hopeful that the Yin-yang Assimilation Method will circulate and help her recuperate.
