Today we met a strange adventurer. I was on death doors when he suddenly appeared and saved my life, no, our lives. And now he is taking us to his carriage to repair our armour and to give us new weapons to fight with tomorrow in the dungeon since we are in the same party right now.

When we reached his carriage I was stunned by the sheer size of it, not even the carriages that the royal family use, it was not only huge but it had very thick wheels and some kind of contraption on top of the wheels, and adding to that it appeared to be very sturdy because most of it was made out of metal, I thought that it the carriage is so heavy to move but then I saw a monster that was tied to the carriage, the monster was huge, more than 3 meters high and most of its body was made out of fire, I remember reading about this type of monsters in the guild's bestiary.

"Ryo: come on inside"

The inside of the carriage was more impressive than the outside, it's like a small house from the inside, tables and sofas, beds, and toilet, is this really a carriage?.

"Ryo: Seth! Bring some tea for our guests"

"Seth: yes sir!"

"Shin: wha-?!!..."

"Loti: Eiik!!....."

"Ryo: what's wrong with you two?"

"Shin: no no no no!! where did this old man come from and where did he go?!"

In the next morning I met up with Shin and Loti at the guild to tell Regil about our plan and to receive the guild's recording artifact, the artifact is needed to collect evidence on what had caused the overflow and the number of monsters killed during the quest and their types, actually, the guild card dose record this type of information already but we are using the recording artifact in case we die and our cards are lost the guild will still get the information because the recording artifact's work by broadcasting the things it records live to a specified location in today's case the guild's meeting room.

"Regil: now. Ryo-dono, what is your plan?"

"Ryo: my plan for me to be in the front killing monsters so Shin and Loti has to deal with the monsters that manage to go past me, that's why I want Shin to work as the party's tank and block the monsters from going after Loti, while she uses that bow to kill the monsters from far away, and I want Loti to use healing magic on Shin when needed, and Shin while you block the monsters I want you to use your sword to kill as much as possible"

On our way to the outside of the town we saw the same carriage from yesterday parked near the gate, but this time there is a group of soldiers protecting it, it must be a countermeasure against me.

The dungeon is 3 km away from the town inside the forest and because of that I couldn't go by the carriage, that's why we are walking there. On our way to the dungeon, there were no monsters at all and that's all because the Shadow Hounds had hunted them all last night.

"Loti: that's weird, there are no monsters at all"

"Shin: yeah, but we must be careful, they might ambush us if we are not careful!"

"Ryo: no need to worry, last night I had Kage and his kids deal with all the monsters in this territory"

"Loti: wow! Kage-chan is strong!"

Right after that I used {Flash Step} to get in the middle of the monsters' group, after that I start using Scarlet to slash at the monsters and because of Scarlet's sharpness I'm able to kill multiple monsters with each slash, with this most the monsters are concentrating on me but some of them noticed Shin and are going towards him, he is using the taunt aura enchanted on his shield to make them all attack him at the same time and because of that they are getting in the way of each other and can't land any real hit on him, and right after that he used a shield bash to knock them back and to stun them and right after that as to not miss his chance he used the great sword to kill 3 giant ants and 2 giant mantises with one slash all the while blocking the attacks of the giant bees, one of the giant bees was able to get behind Shin because he was occupied with the giant ants and the giant mantises, the giant bee attacked him with its needle but it was shot down by a stone arrow in the head, the arrow was so strong that the head of the giant bee was destroyed completely, Loti was using stone arrows to shot down the giant bees one after the other and each time the monsters take notice about her location Shin would taunt them and she would change her position and would start killing them with stone arrows, and before long all of the monsters at the entrance were killed, we did not use their weakness fire magic against them because we didn't want their burnt smell to attract more of them from the inside of the dungeon.

"Shin: thanks to these weapons we could deal with the monsters easily"

"Loti: you are right! Magic weapons are really awesome!!"

"Ryo: don't drop your guard, it's going to get harder as we go!"

Inside the dungeon was a very large room and it was littered with giant ant monsters and once we got inside all of them started screeching and dashing towards us, we started using the same strategy from before, I was attacking them randomly using Scarlet to reduce their numbers and Shin would block the monsters using his shield while attracting their attention and Loti would kill them using her bow.

After some time a huge giant ant appeared at the back of the room and started screeching, {Analyze} showed me that this a Queen Giant Ant and that it's this room's boss so once we kill it the entrance to the next room will appear, this dungeon is one of the smallest dungeons in this kingdom because it only has 21 floors and each floor has only one big room like this one, and from the information, I got from Rigel is that each 5 floors have the same type of monsters, so for the first 5 floors there are the giant ants but they will get stronger as we go on.

After killing all the giant ants, the queen giant ant started moving towards us while screeching, its height was close to 5 meters and it had very sharp mandibles and its body was covered with thorns making it hard to attack.

"Shin: you block its attacks and attract its attention and don't try to attack it I'll handle the attacking. Loti, I want you to attack it using fire arrows and aim for its eyes only!!"

"got it!!"

Shin jumped in front of me and blocked the queen's dash and knocked it back and after that, I slashed one of its front legs off to prevent it from dashing at us again, the queen ant was stunned for a second but it started attacking me with its mandibles in no time but Shin moved in front of me and blocked its attack knocking it back again and out of nowhere a fire arrow came and penetrated the left eye of the queen giant ant causing it to catch fire burning half its head, the queen giant ant started attacking more franticly because of the damage it received, I slashed at its mandibles severing them and as it was screeching in pain a second fire arrow came and penetrated its right eye killing it for good.

"Shin: that was scary…"

"Loti: …yeah"

"Ryo: is it your first time fighting a monster this big?"

"Shin: yeah, but thanks to this shield it went without any problems"

"Ryo: that's not all of it, aside from the dash attack all of its attacks are weak and can be blocked using normal shields, the queen giant ant is a © rank monster after all"

"Loti: really?!"

"Ryo: yeah, by the way, the normal giant ants are also © rank but they are more dangerous than the queen giant ant because they move in groups while the queen giant ant is always alone, plus the queen giant ant role is not to fight but to lay eggs"

"Merchant No.1: are you sure that the adventurer you sent to the dungeon really is The Divine Blacksmith and not some random adventurer pretending to be him?"

"Rigel: yeah I'm sure, and it's impossible to pretend to be another adventurer since the guild card can't be forged"

"Merchant No.1: I know that! But it's just hard to believe that he really came to this remote town"

"Merchant No.2: I understand your feelings but we have no choice but to believe in him to find the cause and get rid of it, and once he is back we have to offer him our utmost thanks, to make it worth his efforts"

For the whole time, everyone was watching and commenting on Ryo and Shin and Loti fighting their way through the dungeon, but there are two individuals who were watching with a sneer on their faces but before long the sneer was slowly changing to a terrified expression on their faces as Ryo, Shin and Loti advanced through the dungeon, and once they found the cause of the monster's overflow the individuals' faces were drenched with sweat and as Ryo, Shin and Loti started getting rid of the cause the two looked at each other and nodded as if to confirm what they should do right now and then they both dashed out of the room as if their life depends on it.

"Rigel: what the hell was that?! Why did they suddenly start running like that?"

"Adventurer No.1: maybe they are just afraid of The Divine Blacksmith?"

"Rigel: I hope that's all to it…."

We went into the second floor after a short break and started killing the giant ants in the same way we did on the first floor, the giant ants were a little bit stronger on this floor but not to the point of changing rank, after killing the second queen giant ant we took another break before advancing to the next floor, each time we took a break I spent it collecting the copses of the monsters we killed and placed them into my {Storage}, we continued advancing through the floors just like this till we reached floor six, the first giant bee's floor.

"Ryo: all the monsters on this floor are of the flying type, the giant bees. And because of that, we need to use a new strategy, I'm going to use water magic as we enter the room and cover all the giant bees with water and then after that I'm going to use fire and wind magic at the same time to remove the water from the ground after that we are going to fight them the same way as before but this time we are going to clad our weapons with lightning, Shin you have to clad your greatsword and shield with lightning and fight that way, Loti you have to make sure that all shoot is lightning arrows"

"Shin: got it!!"

"Loti: leave it to me!!"

After that, we entered the room and it was full of giant bees and at the back of the room there was a huge beehive and it was dripping honey all over the place, the giant bees collect mana essence from all over the dungeon and turn it into honey, this honey is known as the giant bee honey and it can be used to make healing and stamina potions.

Upon entering I used {Medium Rain} a water magic spell to make it rain inside the room to cover all the giant bees with water to slow them down, and after that I used {Heat wave} and {Wind} to dry the ground out, and right after that Shin jumped in front of me and used taunt on the giant bees and that caused them to slowly advance towards him, they are moving slowly because their wings are heavy from being soaked in water, Shin readied his lightning clad shield and when the giant bees were two meters away from him he used a shield bash to bush them back but they were electrified and died immediately, seeing this he started attacking the bees with his greatsword and blocking them with his shield more actively, at the same time Loti was shooting the giant bees with lightning arrows killing them one after the other, and I was using the spell {Lightning Rain} to kill most of the giant bees in the room, at the start there were hundreds of the giant bees but in less than 20 minutes all of them were died.

After all the giant bees were killed the queen giant bee finally appeared from within the beehive, the queen giant bee can't fly because of its heavy weight but it can use that weight to attack and crush its targets, it started running towards us at high speed but I used {Water Cannon} on it to slow it down and right after that five lightning arrows struck the queen giant bee on the head stunning it greatly and then Shin came and used his lightning clad greatsword to cut it head vertically in half killing it.

We took a short break and I started collecting the corpses of the giant bees and placed them all inside my {Storage}, after that, I started collecting the honey from the beehive, at the end of the collection process I had more than 10 tons of giant bee honey inside my {Storage}.

And after that, we advanced to the next floor, floor number seven the second giant bee's floor, we fought the same way we did in the previous floor and the only difference between the two floors was that the second giant bee's floor had more giant bees in it and that the beehive was bigger and it had more honey in it, and like that we advanced through the giant bee's floors and finally reached floor number eleven.

The next five floors are known as the giant mantis's part, in this part, there are three types of giant mantis monsters, solder mantis, assassin mantis and the boss hunter mantis.

"Ryo: the number of monsters in this part is less than in the previous one but the monsters here are a lot stronger, there are three types of mantis monsters in this part, the solder mantis are five meters tall mantises that have four sickles and attack by randomly slashing with them, and the assassin mantis is a one-meter mantis that can use shadow movement to appear suddenly behind the target and assassinate it silently, and the hunter mantis is the boss of each room and it's a ten meters tall mantis that has eight sickles and his fighting way is the same as the solder mantis, so I'm going to use light magic to control the direction of our shadows and make it so the assassin mantises can only come out in front of us only, Shin I want you to block the assassin mantises as they appear and Loti to kill them using lightning arrows to the head, and I'll deal with the solder mantises by myself"

Upon entering the room I used the light magic {Light Orb} and placed it by the entrance, and after that, I used my skill {Scan} to count the number of monsters in the room and there were three assassin mantis and five solder mantises and the one hunter mantis boss.

I used {Shadow Arts} to prevent the assassin mantises from moving through my shadow and went to face the first solder mantis, the mantis started slashing at me using his sickles but I was able to dodge its attacks and slashed at it with Scarlet cutting it in half vertically, Shin was blocking the assassin mantis the appeared suddenly in front of him and out of nowhere Loti's lightning arrow came and struck it in the head killing it.

We continued like that killing the mantises and after all the solder and assassin mantises were killed the hunter mantis appeared from the back of the room and started screeching loudly, Loti started the attack this time and fired fire arrows at the hunter mantis's legs sealing its movements and then Shin jumped in front the hunter mantis and used taunt provoking it to attack with its eight sickles, but Shin was holding his ground and was blocking all of its attacks.

"Ryo: good job!! Now it's time for me to finish it off!!......{Batto: Iai Kaminari}"

I released a huge flying lightning slash at the ten meters tall hunter mantis cutting it in half, this is the main ability of Scarlet and I can use it to send a flying slash at my target, the size of the slash increases the more mana I pour in it and I can add an attribute to the released slash.

"Loti: wow…"

"Shin: what was that attack just now?!!"

There are only four giant basilisks in each room of this part, and my plan is to use sand magic to steal their ability to see and after that I want you to hide behind your shield with Loti and once they start to open their mouths to attack with poison or to use their tongues so they can smell what is happening around them Loti will shoot fire arrows inside their mouths killing them and there is no boss monster after we kill all of the giant basilisks, and if they managed to spit their poison you can use your shield to block it"

"Loti: got it!!"

"Shin: ….. I understand"

We entered the first giant basilisk room and I used the sand magic {Sand Storm} to steal the giant basilisk's sight, and right after that they started to open their mouths and right as they did Loti's arrows struck them in the inside of their mouths, but one of them managed to spit its poison at Loti before the arrow reaches it, Shin moved quickly and blocked the poison easily.

"Loti: that was really easy!"

"Shin: this poison is stuck to the shield, how to remove it?"

"Ryo: just clad the shield with water magic and it'll wash of"

"Shin:…. It really was easy to deal with them"

After that, we continued to advance through the giant basilisk���s part without any problems and finally reached the dungeon boss's room, the room should be 50 meters high and 200 meters wide room and the boss should be a 10 meters long wyvern that can fly all over the room and attack with its fireball breath and by using its claws and wings to slash at its targets.

But when we reached the boss's room we were taken aback by what we saw, there were hundreds of wyverns covering the whole room, on the ground and the walls and even the ceiling they are everywhere and some of them are even standing on top of each other.

"Shin: w-w-what the hell is going on here?!!"

"Loti: We have to run away!! Fast!!"

"Ryo: wait!....{Scan}!........ I see"

"Shin: what are you doing?! We have to escape from here!! quickly!!"

"Ryo: why are you panicking like that? Even if you run away from here how do you plan to go through the dungeon floors? By now most of the monsters we killed on our way here have respawned already, or do you plan to take them on in your panicked state?"

"Shin: …b-but what do you want me to do in this situation?"

"Ryo: did you forget our goal for coming all the way here? We are here to look for the cause of the overflowing monsters and don't you think that this number of wyverns is abnormal?"

"Shin: …you are right, sorry I didn't think this through!"

"Loti: me too! I'm very sorry!"

"Loti: so there should be someone responsible for this?"

"Ryo: yeah, and look down over there!"

At the centre of the room, there were four strange artifacts and each time a new wyvern is spawned the artifacts start glowing and place submission curse markings on its neck.

"Shin: what should we do now?"

"Ryo: we have to catch the one behind all of this"

"Loti: but there is no one besides us in here?"

"Ryo: once all the wyverns they enslaved are killed they will have no choice but to appear to see what happened in here"

Shin's POV…

"Ryo: but there are too many of them, if I started killing them by myself it will take too much time"

I don't think that's the problem here!! How is he planning on killing all of these wyverns?!

"Ryo: I have no choice….. Kage came out!"

*yes!"

Suddenly a huge wolf appeared from Ryo's shadow, the wolf was so black to the point of making me think that the room became darker for some reason.

"Loti: Kage-chan?!"

"Shin: what?! This can't be the same monster from yesterday!!"

"Ryo: it's the same monster, but he can transform to change his appearance to attract less attention,.....Kage call your family and start killing those wyverns you see over there!"

*yes! AWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!*

And suddenly a large number of wolves the same as Kage appeared and started to attack and kill the wyverns as if playing around.

"Loti: where did all of these wolves come from?"

"Ryo: these monsters are called Shadow Hounds they are titan class monsters and they have the ability to stay in my shadow for as long as I want them to"

"Shin: T-T-T-Titan class!!"

"Ryo: yeah, I tamed them a while back"

"Shin: Ryo-san just who are you?"

"Ryo: I'm the adventurer known as The Divine Blacksmith"

"Shin: the (SS) rank?!"

"Ryo: yeah, ... to make it faster {Homura Bito}!"

(O my Lord! Did you call for us!)

Suddenly an army of skeletons wearing armour and holding weapons appeared from a magic formation on the ground.

"Ryo: go and aid Kage with killing the wyverns!"

(yes sir!)

The skeletons army dashed towards the wyverns and started killing them and looking closely I found the old man from yesterday mixed with them and was killing the wyverns left and right, but he is different from yesterday, right now he has two big horns sprouting from the sides of his head and a long tail coming out from his lower back, he must be a beastman.

The massacre went on for 15 minutes. after that, all of the wyverns are laying on the ground died.

Ryo's POV…

"Ryo: you guys did a good job!"

Kage and Seth went back to the house Jigen Domus and my skeleton army disappeared into thin air, the boss's room is now empty except for us and the four artifacts in the middle of the room, Kage and his kids have collected all of the wyvern's corpses and placed them into {Storage}, I walked towards the artifacts and placed them into my {Storage} and suddenly the centre of the room started swelling up till it turned into a two meters high column and suddenly a man wearing a black robe and his face was covered with his hood, he started glaring at me with eyes full of hate and resentment.

"Hooded Man: how dare you!! How dare you!! How dare you!! How dare you get in the way of our Divine mission and save this rotten world!!"

"Ryo: you must be the one behind all of this mess! Who are you? And what were you planning to do with all of these wyverns?"

"Hooded Man: For the hope of this rotten world!!.....AAARRWWOOOOOOOO!!"

After saying his line the hooded man took out a weird dagger and stabbed himself in the neck, right after that blood started gushing from all over his body and he started to transform into a 10 meters high monster that resembled a giant octopus but his whole body was covered with eyes even his tentacles, it was an intermediate class demon.

"Ryo: what a pain! So the overflowing of the dungeon monsters was caused by the same people who caused the miasma thing back in Elven"

*AAAARRRRWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!*

The demon started slashing at me with its tentacles but I dodged all of its attacks, there was no sign of it attacking anyone other than me, demons are a pain in the ass to fight because unless you destroy them completely they will regenerate at a high speed and would start attacking you again, but they are so weak against holy magic.

"Ryo: give it up already!....{Holy Ray}!!"

This spell is one of the strongest spells that can kill demons from the lesser class up to the high-class ones, and just using it once is enough to annihilate the octopus demon without leaving nothing behind, and right after the demon's death, a magic circle appeared beneath us teleporting us back to the surface right by the entrance.

"Shin: what? What happened?"

"Loti: where are we?"

"Ryo: calm down! We are back by the entrance"

"Shin: you are right! We are back to the surface!"

"Loti: finally!..."

"Shin: but what does this mean?"

"Ryo: it means the dungeon is back to normal and the overflow problem is solved"

"Shin: yes!! We did it!!"

"Loti: yes!!"

"Ryo: come on let's go back to the town! We have to report back to the guild master!!"

"Rigel: good work out there!!"

"Ryo: thank you, but do you know anything about what happened?"

"Rigel: I do have a guess but I'm not sure"

"Ryo: that guy was talking about some strange things like 'Divine mission' and 'For the hope of this rotten world' he did not make any sense at all"

"Rigel: wait! Are sure he said that?"

"Ryo: yeah, do you know anything about it?"

"Rigel: yeah, he must be one of the Blue Sun of Hope"
