Chapter 99

“So, dinner is okay then?”

Vincent nodded with lots of enthusiasm. “More than. It’s excellent.”

“Great. Why don’t you have a seat in the living room while I wash the dishes?”

“I’ll help.”

“But you’re a guest.”

“I’m your boyfriend,” Vincent blurted out before realizing what he had just said. “Uh, I…I mean—”

“Boyfriend,” Anthony cut Vincent off midsentence. “I really like the sound of that.”

Vincent let out the breath he had been holding back. “Yeah?”

“Absolutely.”

“Glad to hear that.”

Anthony grinned at Vincent. “I’ve been calling you my boyfriend inside my head anyway.”

“Me, too.”

The two of them burst out laughing as they carried all the dirty dishes into the kitchen. Between them, they managed to clean everything up within a short period of time. Then Anthony pulled out the box of chocolate from the refrigerator.

“How about some chocolates and a movie? We can cuddle on the couch.”
