Day of arrival (2)

Inside a small bathroom, a young man is lying in the tub filled with water. He closed his eyes as he lay there.

~Flashback~

"Dead.. I repeat, everyone is dead." A voice came from the intercom.

"Damn it." A bold head man wearing suits shouted as he heard the message.

"Again, they made a mass." He continued to say.

A young man sitting in front of the computer said, "But isn't it good. All these people are mafia and drug lords."

The bald headed man looked at the man angrily and said, "That doesn't give him the right to kill them. its the law who should judge them for their crime."

The young man looked at the computer again as he thought,'like law and enforcement are doing their job correctly.'

All of them got a report of a gun fight from here 10 minutes ago. Only 10 minutes, but everyone is killed in this 10 minutes.

They know who the culprit is or more likely who can do this. They don't know his name, identity, or how he looks, nothing. He never leaves a single piece of evidence.

Even with all this high tech, they can not find him. The only thing they can do is whenever this thing happens, they check every detail of everyone to see if they can find anything in common.

~scene change~

"I am leaving sweetie, take care." Lucius said to Angela. She nodded and said, "Take care, dad."

Lucius stands up from the chair and walks towards the door. He takes the guitar bag and looks back at Angela.

He then turned around and got out of the room.

~scene change~

Lucius is walking on the road and looking at the bystanders. He saw some students laughing with their friends as they were chatting.

A mother is carrying her children and walking towards a shop.

As he was looking at everything and by a dark ally, he heard noises. He looked inside but because of the darkness he couldn't see clearly so he shouted "anyone there?"

"Um," again, he heard a voice. This time, it's clear. He walked inside and saw a robber holding the mouth of a young girl.

He understands what is happening. He looked at the man and said, "Let her go, and you can leave too."

The man said, "Walk away, don't try to be a hero."

Lucius sighs and looks at the girl and says, "It's gonna be okay, close your eyes." The girl closed her eyes immediately as tears came from her eyes.

Lucius sees that she closes her eyes and looks at the man. Suddenly, he shot a knife so fast that the thief couldn't react.

He screamed as he felt pain in his arm and let the girl go. Lucius immediately appears beside the girl and moves her from the thug.

He then says, "Open your eyes." The girl opened her eyes and saw the thug screaming on the ground.

She looked at Lucius as he said, "Leave now." She nodded and thanked him. Then, immediately run out of the alley.

Lucius looks at her running back and then looks at the thug. He walked towards him and kicked his head as he lost consciousness. "So noisy."

As he said that suddenly a portal open in the allay and suck him in "what the fuck?"

~Flashback end~

Lucius opens his eyes as he again looks at the small bathroom 'where am I? Did I come into the past. I remember that 16-17 centuries was when pirates were running in the sea side areas.'

He then thought of another thing 'by the language of the people it seems like I am in Japan.'

He then remembered about the portal 'what was that portal? And why now after all this time?'

He gets out of the tub and dries himself with the towel and wears the clothes townspeople give him.

It's a white sleeveless shirt and short pants. He then went out of the room and said to himself "let's gather some intel first."

Lucius came to the dining hall and saw a middle aged man and woman and a young boy sitting on the dining table.

Lucius walks towards them and sits on the chair that is left for him as he said "thank you for the hospitality" the man shakes his head and says "no, it's the least we can do for saving us. We again deeply thank you for saving the village."

Lucius smiled and said "you are welcome." he then started eating the soup they made. It's very normal, not like some high quality ingredients were used in it. The woman said "sorry, if you don't like the food. This is a very poor island."

Lucius shook his head and said "no the food is fine." he looked at the kid, who is looking at him with worshipful eyes and smiled at him. He rubs his hair. He has seen this kind expression a lot.

He looked at the man and asked "what is this place called?"
