Back?

Appearing in a new place once more Evan was a bit dizzy,

"Damn, I'm being teleported a lot"

He open his eyes as he was shocked by what he saw! He saw a huge magnificent gate! He was back! He was at the outskirts of the city of almia!

Looking around everything was the same, even the mana. Yet for some reason, he felt it was strangely weird. Shaking himself from that thought he felt the wind brush against him as he realized he had been walking in rags.

Looking at the ring for a moment he tried to take clothes out, it worked! His clothes had come out. As he wore the red T-shirt and green pants he walked into the city. Looking around it was still the same!

As he walked in he breathe the fresh air already loving being back and he did not question why he was back, because why think too much when the good already happened.

As he kept looking around mesmerized by the light and people around he got lost enjoying what he had lost.

"Ouch"

He had bumped into someone, it was the red-head woman he saw a while ago. Times have changed he was now C-rank as he looked into her red eyes.

"Sorry"

"Oh it's you, it's fine"

He nodded as he continued on his way to an adventurer's guild building. In most places, guild buildings were different as they had a certain color and a huge drawn symbol at the top of the building.

The hunter's guild had a wolf's head as its symbol to represent its guild, it was a tall grey building and it was very noticeable as regular buildings were brown or Stoney. Their members had a wolf tattoo on a part of their body.

The merchant guild had a trademark of a golden Crown, they wore rings with a crown on it. Their building was a gold color with a gigantic ring above it, floating with the use of mana.

The Alchemist guild has a potion bottle as its Symbol for the building, it was a green building, the members had badges for identification.

The Adventurer's Guild had a sword symbol, it hung above it and it was a silver building. Its members carried badges to show their rank and to state their adventurers.

And that was where he was heading. He had gotten over his adventuring needs. NO MORE will he ever set foot out again. Just that time he went for the fruit he appeared and disappeared too many times.

And that mana-less place was too frightening. Yep, He would not go back to exploring. Just get a supervisor job and leave. Finding a silver building with a huge sword floating above.

He entered, going in he saw tables and chairs everywhere as if it was a restaurant and by the right side, there was a huge board with papers stuck on it, it had a sign that said quests.

And by the door, if you looked straight ahead middle you'll see several counters with people behind them having some paperwork while others gave you pouches of money.

Walking to the huge counter at the middle he saw a man relaxingly sitting on a chair,

"Are you the manager here?"

"Yes" He responded casually,

"I'd like to apply for a job here"

"What are your qualifications? and what type of job?"

"I'd like to just keep troublemakers away from here"

"What rank are you?"

"Recent C-rank"

"Hmm, passable. But the pay will be 200sc per month as you are a recent"

"No problem."

"Here tomorrow, 9 am. I'll be going to the capital for some paperwork so good timing. The vice is still here but he can't be bothered so you do your job. I'll personally, give you your silver every month"

"Okay, Fill this form, and a drop of blood for the magic contract here."

The man gave him two papers, the first one was a form he had to fill out.

It asked for his name, age, birthday, and an optional if you have work experience. The second contract was a magic contract.

Magic contracts were mainly used to hire people as it could tell if you betrayed or lied. It was a way to ensure loyalty to a guild. And breaking a magic contract would get your heart exploded. Which was why it was safe to use to hire people.

Though you could not force someone to sign it as it would not work. It was a mutual contract to be signed of free will. Anything else will make the contract null.

He looked at the terms and conditions of the contract then, he took his katana out and slashed a bit on his finger as blood leaked and dropped on the contract. It glowed blue as it tore into two and vanished into thin air and flowed into Evan and the manager.

"Alright, I'm done"

"Good, my name's bell by the way"

He nodded.

He left the place as he walked to the inn to sleep now. He had taken care of his job, now just earn money and if he could take revenge. His father had told him to survive so he could not fight his family as he was now.

It was simply a death wish. For now, he would try to get more money and try to find things to help him reach B-rank. As it was the plan for now. Though he doubted it, as a former noble he had one of the higest education so he knew items to reach B-rank did not exist. C-rank was where the gap in talent really showed.
