chapter 1 : 4

The next day was a weekend so mom didn't come to wake me up. I rolled and rolled in delight of my dream land which came to a crashing end as my body fell off the bed and went thud on the rug. That was my sign to wake up. Since none of my siblings went anywhere yesterday l was sure today was going to be hetic. I was surprised to meet everyone on the dinning having breakfast all dressed.

" Good morning your highness" Mom said sarcastically.

" Good morning mom" l muttered.

" Am taking them all out. Am dropping Maine off at the court and taking Mika too. Lisa is having a play date at Stacey's" she explained clearing their messy dishes.

" And Kobby? " l asked with no intentions of babysitting.

" Hermes, would come over to take him to the pediatrician. "

And before l could say another word , they were all dashing through the door.

Hermes? Hermes was kobby's father.

He was absolutely gorgeous and trust me it can never be overemphasized.

I didn't know when Hermes was coming so l stayed at alert waiting for the doorbell but after a 2 hours wait l decided to at least shower.

I had a quality bathroom time since kobby was asleep, quality bathroom time was when l got to have my own concert and everything. This happened only when everyone was out on Saturdays!

I stared at my reflection with a blue towel wrapped above my growing breasts. I admired myself.

Puberty was quite generous

I thought as l raked my fingers through my wet hair.

My towel was just beneath my butt as l could see how well my body was coming together.

I made some poses for the imaginary paparazzi.

Just as l was in my own world , the door bell rang. I quickly wrapped a robe around my body and flew downstairs to get the door.

My face flushed red when l opened it.

Hermes! I had totally forgotten about him.

"Hello Miya" He said letting himself in.

He was the only one who called me Miya.

" Good day Hermes"

He insisted that we all addressed him by his name which made him more appealing.

What was better than a good looking and free guy?

" Am guessing your mom told you why am here" He said now facing me.

" Yeah but kobby is asleep now. You can't take him"

" Why not? "

" He doesn't like to be woken from his sleep and mom said we shouldn't. It has some effects on toddlers" l said.

Of course, it was a lie but l was ready to say any lie as long as l got his time.

" Let me get you some juice " I offered and headed to the kitchen.

" Apple or orange?" l asked trying to be as gentle as l could.

" Orange please"

I handed him a glass of chilled orange juice and excused myself.

I dashed to my room to put on some clothes.

I was so embarrassed, the thought of my robe being transparent taunted me but then again, maybe it was a start.

I settled for a Blue jean short and a Christmas sweater nana gifted me two years ago.

When I came back he was half way done with the glass. I refilled it and somehow convinced him to play a video game with me . I was distracted the whole time and lost to him.

" I think we should get going" he said after our 8th round of game.

I reluctantly went up to get kobby. He had long woken up and was just playing with his toys in his crib.

I carefully held him tight to my chest not to drop him, at least not before his dad.

Just as hermes took kobby from me, his fingers brushed lightly on my breast and as hard as l fought it, l smiled.

I felt a spark flow through and then goosebumps.

" I would bring him back as soon as we are done. "

The next thing l heard was

" Can l come?"

he looked at me weirdly

why would l want to go to a pediatrician with him though but l continued.

" I have nothing else to do"

I smiled nervously

" em...okay"

I changed into a different short and put on my favorite pair on sandals, I drowned my outfit in perfume before coming back.

I locked the door behind me and shoved the key in the flowerpot.

I kept a conversation with him all through the drive there , even while we waited for kobby; l bombarded him with questions and he answered all of them brilliantly.

Afterwards, we went to the park and it was literally the best time ever.

He dropped us off by few minutes past 4 and winked at me as he drove off. That was all l could think about the rest of the day.
