35: Talent Joins, Felicity and Skye

The primary objective was to establish game distribution points in major cities worldwide, connecting them with Stark Industries' global production and transportation channels.

This way, when Oasis was officially released, players worldwide could immediately purchase game equipment and experience the infinite charm of the Second World.

Setting up these distribution points was one of the crucial preparatory tasks. Though tedious, it was not difficult—money would solve most of the challenges. Lynn had faith in Louis's abilities to handle the overall arrangements. Additionally, he assigned Bobby, Peter, and Roberto to the team to gain experience and knowledge.

"I'll say it again, cost is not a concern; Speed is the key," Lynn emphasized, waving his hand and dismissing Louis along with Bobby and the others.

His attention then turned to Kitty.

"The matter regarding Daily X is straightforward," Kitty said, presenting a stack of documents. "According to the plan, the company is registered under my name and has no affiliation with the Second World. The app has already been developed and can be released at any time."

She playfully curled her lips. "Lynn, you've already taken care of these things, which leaves me feeling unfulfilled."

Unlike renowned media companies such as Daily Bugle and Daily Planet, Daily X positioned itself as a new media outlet, focusing on short videos and had no intention of entering the newspaper or TV market.

Lynn, aware of the significant influence of self-media platforms and short videos in the smartphone era, knew that the task was not overly challenging. All they needed was a mobile app.

Lynn had already developed the Daily X app, drawing inspiration from TikTok, the overseas version of a certain music app from his previous life. The subsequent operations could be handled by Alice.

Their current objective was to ensure that Daily X was swiftly recognized, accepted, and utilized by people worldwide. In line with this, Lynn also planned to create a "X-Men Documentary" to generate buzz.

"Stop complaining; your task is substantial" Lynn smiled, looking at Kitty and Jubilee. "From now on, your roles will be officially confirmed. Jubilee, as the technical director of the Second World, you'll also assist in upgrading Alice. And Ms. Kitty Pride..."

"Congratulations on becoming the Chief Reporter of Daily X."

Shadowcat's phasing ability made her unsuitable for combat, but her unique power also made it difficult for others to harm her.

Over the years, with Lynn's guidance, she had honed her skills to a powerful level, comparable to other X-Men like Storm. Thus, she was the perfect fit to be the reporter for Daily X.

"Affirmative!" Kitty put aside her playful demeanor and nodded. "From now on, the mutant channel will be under my control."

It was a plan they had conceived long ago, and she had mentally prepared herself for this role.

Jubilee, however, expressed a hint of uncertainty. "Lynn, the Technical Department is a crucial unit in the Second World. I'm afraid I won't be able to handle it alone..."

Being fresh out of school, she suddenly found herself burdened with a significant responsibility, leading to feelings of unease.

Seeing Jubilee's hesitation, Kitty took her hand and encouraged her. "Be confident in yourself, Jubilee! When it comes to Artificial Intelligence, you're second to none, globally."

"Kitty's right, you can do it!" Lynn nodded, wearing a mysterious expression. "Of course, I understand it's a heavy workload for the two of you, so I've arranged an assistant for each of you."

"An assistant?" Jubilee and Kitty exchanged surprised glances.

"You'll be satisfied," Lynn said, taking out his mobile phone and placing it on the table. "Alice, connect to the video call"

"Understood, Boss."

Following Alice's response, two holographic projection screens flickered to life, revealing two women.

One was a typical Western beauty with blond hair, blue eyes, fair skin, and an attractive appearance. She wore red lipstick and glasses, exuding an intellectual and captivating charm.

"Felicity Smoak, the IT genius I recruited from the Star City Queen Group," Lynn introduced. He then looked at the other woman, who possessed a mix of Oriental beauty.

"Skye, the world's top hacker and one of my friends from the darknet," he said.

Skye showcased her figure in a black leather jacket. "Hey, Lynn~" Both women greeted him simultaneously.

Kitty and Jubilee felt that these two women were not strangers to Lynn. They seemed to have known each other for some time, despite not having been in contact recently.

There was a hint of familiarity between them. However, Lynn had been at the academy all these years, so how did he know people from outside?

The two women glanced at each other, sensing a trace of caution. Nevertheless, they greeted Felicity and Skye warmly, saying, "Felicity, Skye, welcome to the Second World."

"Felicity and Skye have just arrived as planned. Once they've settled, they will report to the company," Lynn explained. He then turned to Jubilee.

"Felicity graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and possesses exceptional computer skills. With her as your assistant, your work will undoubtedly become much easier."

"And Skye will be your assistant," he said, addressing Kitty. "After the mutant documentary is released, she will use her hacking skills to distribute the edited short video worldwide, attracting traffic to Daily X."

Felicity and Skye were undoubtedly two of the world's top computer talents. In the TV series Arrow, Felicity served as the technical consultant for the Green Arrow team, while Skye eventually became the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. under the codename Quake.

Lynn had planned for years and could not pass up the opportunity to recruit their expertise. Over time, the three of them had countless exchanges on the darknet. In fact, Felicity and Skye owed much of their hacking skills to Lynn's guidance. He had acted as their mentor, teacher, and friend.

Just recently, when he was about to confront Professor X and fully execute his plans, Lynn finally found Felicity and Skye and invited them to join the Second World.

As for how he convinced them... It was a private matter between them. With deeper conversations, cooperation followed naturally. Everything was falling into place.
