Lake Alkali, the secretive research base of Weapon X.

Inside William Stryker's office, a portal silently materialized. In the next moment, to William Stryker's horror and desperation, Lynn emerged from the portal, followed by Magneto and Mystique.

"Colonel Stryker, it's been a while," Lynn greeted with a smile, resembling a polite and considerate visitor.

Magneto's expression remained emotionless, but a flicker of killing intent glimmered in his eyes. Mystique, on the other hand, wore her killing intent openly.

For William Stryker, they had always viewed him as a military general hostile to mutants, and there was no doubt that a life-and-death enmity existed between them.

"It's you!"

"You saved Magneto!"

"You obstructed my base!"

"You orchestrated all this, aiming for my demise!"

Upon seeing the three of them, William Stryker was momentarily taken aback. However, he quickly pieced everything together and, through gritted teeth, uttered each word.

His eyes glared hatefully at Lynn, as if he wanted to devour him alive.

"It appears Alice has already made you acquainted," Lynn casually disregarded his gaze and said, "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Lynn, a student of the Xavier's Academy. Professor Charles asked me to extend his greetings, though I believe... you won't be receptive to his kindness, will you?"

The corners of William Stryker's mouth twitched, his face contorted with anger.

Lynn barely made an effort to conceal his victorious posture, a gesture that should have been used against mutants, not by him.

"How in the world did you find out about my plan?"

William Stryker took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down. "Only Adam Robert, myself, and a select few within the entire base were aware of the Nightcrawler's assassination of the president. I'm certain none of them leaked the information!"

It must be acknowledged that he is indeed a formidable character. Despite the circumstances, he managed to maintain a semblance of composure. However, instead of answering his question, Lynn simply smiled dismissively.

"Do you have any misconceptions about your own power?"

Upon entering the base, Lynn's demeanor became somewhat sharp. "You wish to destroy mutants, yet their superpowers are filled with wonders. Knowing your plan... is it really surprising?"

These words took both Magneto and Mystique by surprise.

They could sense that Lynn held no regard for William Stryker whatsoever, from beginning to end.

William Stryker felt the contempt directed towards him. Anger trembled through his entire body.

"It seems that you've dealt with mutants too effortlessly in the past, granting you an unfounded confidence in your abilities, and Professor Charles' kindness has amplified your ambition," Lynn's eyes burned, each word uttered with intensity. "But evidently, you fail to grasp the truth. Professor X could take your life with a single thought, and Magneto alone could decimate your entire base... In the eyes of mutants, your so-called Weapon X Project is... nothing."

Magneto's eyes suddenly flashed.

As the overseer of the military's Weapon X program, William Stryker undeniably held significant power, evidenced by his ability to orchestrate a plan to eradicate mutants.

However, Lynn's few words crushed his pride entirely! William Stryker's eyes turned red in an instant.

"Why? Dissatisfied?"

Lynn's smile remained unaltered. "The reason you are able to carry out these conspiracies is because you've remained concealed in the shadows, undetected by Professor Charles. But now, we have uncovered your scheme... All your plans are immediately rendered futile, aren't they?"

"Hahaha..."

William Stryker laughed back at the merciless humiliation. "What could a fabricated live video possibly do to me?"

"Everyone in this base can attest that I never sent Adam Robert's special operations team on a mission, nor did I have a video call with him. Send this evidence to the White House, and everyone will know of my innocence. The so-called live broadcast is nothing more than a mutant conspiracy!"

Lynn patiently waited for him to finish speaking, his mocking smile growing stronger.

"Isn't it amusing to deceive yourself like this?"

Shaking his head, Lynn posed a serious question.

With just one sentence, all the momentum William Stryker had built up crumbled to dust!

"You still don't know, do you?"

Lynn pulled out his mobile phone, and under Alice's control, a light projection appeared before William Stryker. "The live broadcast isn't over yet, and the White House has already released a statement. You're going to face a public trial."

The statement's headline loomed large, catching William Stryker's gaze. Darkness engulfed his eyes. And it wasn't over yet.

Lynn flicked his finger, and the news interface changed once more. "In less than a minute, the spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense also issued a statement, asserting that your plan to assassinate the president was purely a personal endeavor and unrelated to the military..."

"See? The military higher-ups have betrayed you outright... They haven't even mentioned investigating the truth."

William Stryker staggered, nearly collapsing to the ground. Despite expecting it, he never imagined... being discarded so easily and completely.

This was a sacrifice made to appease the White House's anger.

"A group of vile and shameless people!!"

In that moment, anger, panic, fear, and despair surged through William Stryker's heart like torrents. His eyes turned bloodshot, teetering on the brink of collapse.

But what Magneto and Mystique didn't anticipate was that he wasn't entirely without hope. With a venomous stare fixed on Lynn, he declared, "Even if I'm betrayed, do you mutants think you'll emerge victorious? The church battle isn't over yet"

When he said this, a strange smile played on the corners of his mouth.

"Are you referring to him?"

Lynn sat behind William Stryker's desk, turned the computer screen around to face him, and asked directly, "Is he your trump card?"

At that moment, the live broadcast showcased Deadpool's appearance and the peril faced by the X-Men.

"Yes, his name is Wade Wilson, and he's my favorite creation, aside from Wolverine."

William Stryker hissed, revealing the madness of a desperate hero's final act. "If you dare to kill me, he'll kill all the X-Men and go down with me!"

At this juncture, he attempted to leverage the lives of everyone in the X-Men to threaten Lynn.

Lynn's delight was evident. 'You have Deadpool, but I have Iron Man And... Myself too'
