After a long hour of extra lessons in spells, Edward decided to rest his head on the table and get a few minutes of sleep. He was oblivious to what was going on due to how heavy he sleeps.
The running and screaming of students couldn't wake him up. Not even the danger bell but the loud shattering of the window beside him could.
The shock was enough to knock him down to the floor. He screamed in pain as pieces of glass cut his body. He was even more scared when he saw the huge bird taking steps towards him.
Unable to stand, he crawled backwards until his back hit the wall.
"Please don't hurt me" he cried
The bird flew to the corner of the room and jumped on the floor as if expecting it to open by doing so.
Edward saw it as his chance to escape. He silently moved towards the door until the bird shot one of his feathers at his arm. The pain of the glass cut and the metallic feather of the bird made him cry out in pain.
