Chapter 12

The trio didn't talk about the discussion they over heard on Saturday till a tragic incident happened on Monday.

"Mix the blue solution with the feathers. To get pink, you have to mix those potions together'' Mr Richard, the potions teacher instructed.

All year one students were grouped into three's. Amelia, Helen and Edward were in the same group.

They carried out the experiment perfectly, causing a pink flame to form.

"Good job group two" the teacher said to them "Five points each to Walker, Iris and Helen"

Ingrid and her two friends watched them with envious glares. Ingrid cleared her throat trying to get Mr Richard's attention.

"Excuse me sir. Come check ours" Mian called to him

Mr Richard went to their table to watch them. Ingrid poured the blue solution in a larger quantity than needed. Instead of a pretty pink flame to form, a fire broke out. The rest students screamed in fear.
