Chapter 4

(Bree's POV): Grey and I sat at our usual table. Taco's were put out for dinner, and then Jax joined us for dinner. Finally Aviva showed up with a female who looked out age, she was around 5'9 in height. The first thing I noticed about this girl is her uniform. So this is her, Aviva won't stop talking about her.

She had long black hair that was pulled back into a low ponytail. She had sapphire blue eyes, and she wore a smile on her face as Aviva talked to her. I noticed Grey looking over, and his eyes widened as he realized she was coming to sit with us. Jax was grinning at the two girls. So, he's already met her then. The girls were busy picking dinner.

"Psst Jax, who's the new girl and what's with her uniform?" Grey asked.

"Oh, that's Lexia, Aviva's roommate, and she is also joining training-" Both of us freaked out at that.

"A female in training!?" Grey and I say in Sync.

We look at each other and laugh, I didn't get a chance to ask about Lexia.

"Hey guys, this is my new roomie Lexia!" Aviva says in her normal cheerful attitude.

"Nice to meet you Lexia, Aviva talks about you alot." Is all Grey says.

"Hi Lexia, congrats on becoming a part of The Catalyst Warriors. I've heard many amazing things about you!"

I say to the girl who looks rather uncomfortable now that she was seconds ago. Aviva gestured to her to sit down, and she slid in beside me. When Aviva slides in beside Grey. We began to get to know Lexia a lot more.

Lexia's POV: I sat beside one of Aviva's friends, she was a beautiful blonde. Her hair was so long and blonde it almost looked white at times. This girl had hazel eyes, high cheekbones, and by the looks of it only wore mascara, her uniform on the other hand was a short black skirt with thin black tights , she also wore a white shirt with a loose black tie that disappeared under the shirt's collar. She too wore similar black shin boots the only difference was that hers were heels and she had a zipper on the outside of her boot, from her ankle up.

On the other side of the table beside Aviva sat a male around my age. He had short brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. He had high cheekbones. This male had the white button shirt with his tie tight and in place, he wore plain black jeans. And black runners.

His hair was styled to the side neatly. I sat there and we ate and chatted about everything, and soon enough I basically could read them like a book and I was probably the same to them, our conversation halted when I felt a presence behind me. And for some reason I knew it was male. I was correct when he spoke.

"Is this seat taken?" He asked.

The whole table was frozen, so I slowly turned around and looked up at the intruder. It was Elias.

"N-No!" Grey stuttered, the poor guy looked like he was about to piss his pants, I glanced at Bree. She too was terrified.

Did I miss something here or? Glancing at Aviva and Jax, they were both different. Jax looked perfectly fine, but Aviva on the other hand was looking at her lap and twiddling her fingers nervously. Why were they so nervous, guess that's a question for Aviva later. Realizing that Elias was still waiting for an answer I turned the question to the others.

" I don't have a problem with it. What about you guys?"

"Welcome." Is all they say.

Okkkkkkkaaaayyyyy. After a long time of awkward silence, I tried to pick up some conversation.

"Sooooooo, uh. Grey wanna tell me a bit more facts?"

He glanced around the table before making eye contact with me and shook his head crazily.

"So, how's everyone's day been?" I asked out.

"Sorry Lexia, but me and Grey have homework to finish from class." Bree cut in.

"See ya later." Is all I can think to say.

Elias chuckled, and I glanced at him from the corner of my eye. He was already staring at me. Creepy!

"I need to grab something from our room." I quickly got up and exited the lunch room and headed out to the dorms.

So there was the actual school building that held: Classes, Cafeteria, Bathrooms, Gym, Library, and offices/Teachers lounge. And then there was our dorm; The female and male dorms were separated yet close enough to detect trouble. But in total there were three modern day buildings. And this property can't be desturbed because, well it's in the middle of nowhere. But I've heard that there is a werewolf school acres away. And we are not to leave the school's property. On my way out of the school I bumped into School Mistress Lisa.

"Lexia! Just the vampire I was looking for." She says.

"School mistress Lisa!"

"Please, Dear call me Lisa!" she said.

"How can I help you Lisa?" I ask.

"We've been having some trouble in two areas, one area is the nearby humans are causing quite the commotion about our kind. And another problem is that the balance of the universe has become quite unstable. Now, what I need your help with is this human problem. I'm putting you, Aviva and Nicole in charge of this. And I do ask you to keep this to yourselves. With the exception of Elias and Jax" She finished explaining.

"Thank you Lisa, but I haven't talked to Nicole since I arrived here yesterday." I told her.

Lisa only nods and then continues on her way, and I make my way to the female dorm. Once I made it in I headed up to my room, it's only around six thirty when I get to my room. I flopped on my bed and watched movies till Aviva came in and joined me. Then we went to bed.

The dream started nicely, but all nice things came to an end and the dream took a turn for the worst.

It started at a nice restaurant; big building, polite staff, delicious food, the temperature wasn't too hot or too cold, the place wasn't too busy or crowded, the place itself had a warm, welcoming vibe to it.I was eating an amazing ice cream sundae, when the scenery around me began to ripple and get darker. And then I was standing on top of a lake. Without my sundae! Wait, that doesn't sound right. Let me rephrase that.

I was walking on top of a large, yet deep body of water. Yup, that doesn't make it sound any better. So yeah I was standing on top of a deep and dark lake. Yet I felt nothing, I wasn't wet or cold, almost as if I was standing on air. The sky was clear and filled endlessly with different stars. There was no sight of land at all, and no ships or boats, almost as if the world was empty. I spoke too soon.

Two Cadejo's circled me on top of the water that seemed to freezed under the black's touch. One Cadejo was pure white. With neon glowing blue eyes. While the other one was an ink black, with eyes the color of a red rose.

"We finally meet, only the Angelblood has-sss to be pres-sssent, or el-ssse I'd have too much glee in killing you." The ink looking wolf says slithering in and out of the shadows, which is quite weird seeing as nothing could cast shadows. I guess you could say it faded in and out of sight. Almost as if it could access invincibility.

I blinked a few times, and I noticed the white wolf inching closer to me with each round it took, on the other hand the inky wolf was more obvious in his approach.

"What do you want, um....." I trailed off not knowing its name.

"Call me Echo." The black wolf says.

"Echo?'' I raised a brow.

I took a quick glance at the white wolf.

"Aura, my friend!" He said casually.

"Now, shall we get this party on the road ?" Echo asked.

His beady, red eyes stared at me with bloodlust. And he actually looked hungry and out for my flesh. Almost like only my flesh could soothe that aggressive hunger in him. He also licked his wolfish lips.

"That's because it's true, Mr. Right-minded and I am assigned to you. And digesting you is the only way to stop this; taunting, throbbing, aching, or craving I have for you. But Mr. Right-minded is here to protect you, and prevent me from sinking my jaws into your neck and killing you." He snarled as he glared hatefully at Aura.

"And who assigned you both to me?" I had to get as much information out of them as possible.

"Don't forget we can read your mind." He chuckled darkly.

"My master assigned me to you, unfortunately he needs you alive before I can kill you. So this can go the easy way or the hard way, easy would be coming with me willingly—Or, the hard way, in which you'll have to find out.''

"To get to her, you'll have to take me on–" I cut Aura off.

"No way, am I coming with you." I spat out.

The black Cadejo grinned and laughed, his laugh was worse than nails on a chalkboard. And his voice turned back into a hiss and less human.

"OOOOOOOOH, Thisssss isssss gonna beeee funnnnn." His grin spreads cheshire like.

I gulped and took a glance around looking for the White Cadejo, Aura. Aura had taken an almost Alpha stance in front of me.

"THIS IS A DREAM, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO WAKE WHENEVER I WANT? WHY CAN'T I?' I screamed at myself as I began to panic.

Then it clicked, this was no longer my dream. It was Echo's playground.

The scene shifted again and It was still black, meaning it was still night. This time I was on a one way, narrow path. None of the Cadejo's were in sight, and I could barely see. I was surrounded by trees, I either went ahead or backwards.

Thump, Thump, Thump

The footsteps were getting closer, and by the sounds of it it was big and definitely not friendly.

"Leeex-iaaaaaaa!" It hissed.

"What the…" I trailed off.

And then I saw its shadow, in the forest. And boy was I correct. This creature was large and I could smell its emotions—no that's crazy.

Anger, Rage, Fury, Annoyance, Irritation, and Wrath filled me with fire. But this sensation didn't belong to me. No, I was picking this off of this creature. That I still don't know anything about yet; but I don't know why?

The moon seemed to shine from behind this creature, shedding light on a few of its features. A big detail I noticed at first was it looked part man; I mean it was walking on two legs and had man-like shoulders with big bulky arms and hands- Wait, are those Claws? Ok, other than the monstrous claws and its voice, it looked human from where it was, but as it approached, details that weren't noticeable were now on a clear display. Details like: fur, two horns on its head, a snout, its size, hooves, Satyr hooves, and more.

I froze in horror and it neared quickly, it stopped right in front of me and spoke in the same deep, dark, animalistic voice it had called my name with.

"My-Master-Wants-You-Dead."

"Not so fast Minotaur, Echo is already here. Therefore you should not be." Aura says from behind me.

The minotaur roared, bowed his head and charged Aura. Aura quickly jumped in front of me and collided with the minotaur.

"RUN!" He yells

I didn't think again, I for once didn't ask questions and did as I was told. I. Ran. For. My. Life.

"You can never escape me, I'll see you very soon Lexia!" A voice echoed through the night.

I sat up in bed, sweating and I noticed Bree was standing over me with a worried expression on her face.

"Bree, what are you doing here? And where's Aviva?"

"Not you too." She whispered.
