Quon, however, shows no sign of being daunted by Ilsiael's ferocious supremacy. His amber-colored eyes turn golden, and he glares at Ilsiael's sacred eyes with his calm and collected expression. Ilsiael, in response to the power of Quon, who is both the Human and not quite the Human, fixes the quivering tip of his sword in a cold sweat with his reason.

And Quon, seemingly oblivious to Ilsiael's efforts, spoke to her in a cold tone of voice.
