"Clear up everything in the room," I ordered my guards outside the room and I left.
I was just about to enter my car when I heard my phone ring. I instantly picked up without checking who the caller was.
"Hello."
"Vin." I heard a familiar female voice speak.
"What do you want, Hazel?" I snapped at her. Even in my sleep, I could recognize her voice anywhere. It was Hazel, my first love. She left me for someone who she thought was better than me. How could I ever forget that?
"Please don't hang up." She begged me.
"Why?."
"I know I hurt you and I'm sorry. Can we meet up and talk about it?." She pleaded.
"I'm in the country. I arrived a few days ago." She explained.
"I do not plan on meeting you. Don't ever call my line." I yelled at her and ended the call. I entered my car and drove off. I was so enraged after hearing her voice. How dare she think she could come back to me after everything she's done? I was so angry I needed to vent my anger. I turned my car around and drove back home. I went straight upstairs to Audrey's room, she jerked up at the sound of the door that I bashed open.
"Vin?." She called,
"It's master to you. I'm your master. I own you." I yelled at her.
"Master, what's wrong?." She asked me.
I could see the fear on her face. She was scared of me. I didn't care. Someone had to pay for what Hazel did to me. I pulled her up and tore her dress. Her shoulders were revealed instantly.
"Please. I'm sorry. Forgive me." She begged me.
" You cheat. I hate you. You will pay for what you've done." I yelled at her while I continued to tear her dress.
She tried to run away, I pulled her back.
"You want to escape me? There's no going back for you. You're my slave so stay loyal to me." I demanded.
"Please don't do this. I'm a virgin!." I heard her scream out fearfully. My actions suddenly came to a halt. I breathed deeply, and so did she. I stared at her confusedly. She did the same to me.
"What did you say?" I asked her.
She was too scared to repeat her words and she only glared at me, I couldn't stand the looks in her eyes, they display complete Hatred toward me.
I stood up and grabbed my clothes. I was ashamed of myself for a moment.
I left the room without looking back.
I stayed in my room throughout that day and I didn't go to the office. Hazel made me hurt an innocent person because of her bad deeds. Surprisingly, I still wasn't angry at her. I loved Hazel so much. I stared at my mobile phone hoping that she would ignore my words earlier and call me back. I wondered how Audrey was fairing. I knew that I hurt her but I wasn't feeling apologetic towards her. I felt like I didn't owe her anything. I brought her at a high price from the brothel. She was supposed to condone whatever I did to her as her master.
That night, my conscience judged me. I couldn't sleep. I haven't been able to sleep for so many days, but tonight felt different. My wolf forced me to shift. He also felt worked out from everything. I hurt our mate. He shifted and I left the mansion to have a run into the woods.
Audrey's POV
I woke up and it was morning, the day was bright as the sun's rays found their way into the room, through the curtains. I tried to stand up, my body ached all over. I have never felt this worked up in my entire life. Even when Mr. Parks forced me to dance all night. I was always aided by my drugs.
I stared at my body, the bruises were much. They were inflicted on me by the sharp claws of Alpha Vincent. I hated him for doing this to me. Luckily, he believed my words and didn't touch me. Did he believe my words or he just stepped out of his own will? No! I didn't want to continue thinking about it. I stood up from the bed and picked up my torn clothes and threw them into the laundry bin. I heard a knock on the door and as expected, it was the maidens. They have come to help me get dressed again. I asked them to take the day off and they refused. I suddenly remembered what happened the previous day and I let them do their jobs.
After we were done, I stayed back in my room and stayed in all day.
This went on for five days, I didn't see Alpha Vince. Garrett, his guard, had informed me that he went on a private business trip during those days. I decided to step out of my room on the sixth day, I needed fresh air.
On getting downstairs, I met one of those two men who were with Vincent the other day.
"Good day." I greeted him politely as I made my way outside.
"Hi." He greeted me.
"Wait " he called me back and I stopped. Even though I was meant to ignore him. I still needed an explanation for his words on that day. I needed to know who I wasn't as beautiful as and why Vincent needed me.
"How may I help you?" I tried to be formal with him.
"Who are you to Vin?." He asked.
"Aren't you a friend of his? You should know better."
"Vince can be private sometimes. I was just curious. I hope you don't tell him about our conversation."
"Don't worry, I won't mention anything to him," I said and as I turned to leave, I heard someone call out my name.
"Audrey." He called out. Surprisingly, I recognized his voice.
It was the first time I would hear him call out my name. I stood still and didn't move or reply to his call.
