Channing stared at me in shock as to how I had figured it out. He shook his head, but no voice came from his mouth. I let him have his time and called Dandeline towards me. I folded the letter in my hand and handed it to her, "Change the contents of the last paragraph and burn this original one. Make it fast."
Dandeline nodded and ran away to find herself a secluded place for writing a new copy of the letter. I was feeling better now with the blood being replenished in me.
"Did you meet her?" Channing questioned me suddenly. In a way, that name was forbidden.
I nodded as I turned behind to check what the paramedics were doing and back at Channing, "Yes, during my time in prison. She was a handful, I will give you that." Channing set his lips in a thin line, not know what to say to that. I knew what he would say next, so I spoke up before he opened his mouth to apologise, "Don't, it is not your fault."
