Roselia's heart quickened. She didn't expect this turn of events and for him to even make a move. She nervously licked her lips. His gaze lowered, burning with a desire she hadn't expected. She opened her mouth to respond, but paused.
Noah strolled in, hand rubbing his stomach. He froze, noticing their position. "Uhm, is it a bad time to mention I'm hungry?"
Cruden gritted his teeth, closing his eyes to gather some patience. He casually got to his feet and turned towards his younger brother.
"What do you want to eat?" Cruden asked, irritation lacing his voice.
"We can call for something," Noah said. "I'm sure Kallum is going to take a while to get here."
Cruden resisted the urge to let out an irked sigh, knowing he had to go back to that room soon. "Sure, order whatever you want, but I'm running a check on the food."
