Beth's POV

"Beth, time to go," Aaron’s voice suddenly called out to me, interrupting what I was saying.

Hearing my mate’s call, I immediately stood up, turned around, and waved goodbye to Ally.

The morning sun shone into the bedroom, illuminating it with its bright and warm rays.

I wearily opened my eyes, only to see Aaron's arm around my waist.

I quietly lay in his warm embrace and just looked at him for a good minute.

He looked so relaxed and happy when he slept, the little arch of his lips made him look even more handsome.

There was a little crack on his lips due to his lack of hydration, no matter how much I reminded him to take water in the day, he still wouldn’t, and now he ended up with a slight opening that showed a little blood.

The little blood stain suddenly reminded me of Arc’s words.
