Chapter 1029 Going Tonight!

Claude took a deep breath and regained his composure. But the next moment his phone started ringing. When he saw the caller ID, Claude's brow frowned slightly. He looked around consciously and found that he was all by himself. Claude hesitated and put it through.

"What are you doing?" a womanish voice mixed with some dissatisfaction came through.

Claude frowned and said, "Why are you calling me now?"

The woman snorted, and the next moment she said in a sobbing tone, "I miss you. You haven't come here for quite a while. Don't you miss our daughter?"

"Honey, come on. Daddy's on the phone."

"Er? Is Daddy coming to see me? Where is Daddy!!" Claude felt his heart melt at that moment as a child's soft voice came to his ears.

Then came the excited voice of the child, "Daddy!!"

"Hey you, it is daddy, my little pumpkin," Claude's voice softened quite a lot, not as discontented and frightened as he had just been.
