Chapter Three : The Ritual
I sat down opposite my parents inside my
room while they kept staring at me.
"Anna, tell us where you went,"my dad said,
staring at me.
"Dad,l told you I got lost in the bush," I said.
"What happened between you and the alpha
Son?" my mom said, staring at me.
"Mom nothing happened,it's not what you
guys think"l said.
"Did you guys fight ?He hasn't asked about
you since your disappearance yesterday.
Hope you guys are good," mom asked .
"Mom I don't have any problem with Daniel
but I just don't wanna see him" I said.
"Anna you should better behave yourself,
tomorrow is the ritual and the alpha is coming
with his son if you like to disgrace us"dad said
walking out.
Sometimes I really wonder what my dad saw
in this ritual that made him hold it like this.
"Anna you should get prepared," my mom
said and with that she walked out.
|laid down on my bed as the breeze from
outside blew into my room.
I had arrived home some hours ago and my
parents had been asking me a series of
questions.
My mind went back to the wolf that brought
me home, even in it's wolf form he was cute. I
Wonder how he would be in his human form.
I smiled as I remembered how the wolf licked
my face,so cute.
Laying down on my bed I slept off.
It was a dark shiny night and I sat outside the
pack house waiting for him to return.
"Go get some sleep Anna, he's not coming
back tonight"someone said behind me but I
totally ignored it.
I don't really know why he did that to me,must
he always hurt me or remind me of what I am
to him.
I stared up in the sky and I prayed to the
moon goddess to protect him and bring him
back safely.
"What are you doing outside?" His cold voice
brought me out of my thoughts.
"I was waiting- - - - for you" | shuttered.
"I never told you to wait,l made it clear to you
that you should go to bed early" his cold voice
came out as he dragged me back into our
room in the pack house.
"You are hurting me" I said in pain as he "What did I tell you before leaving?" he said,
glaring hard at me.
"I just wanted to surprise you," I said.
"Did I tell you I needed a surprise?" he said,
slamming me hard against the wall.
"Am sorry"l whispered.
"You should always Remember and know
your place in this pack now get on the bed
and strip" he commanded.
"Please not tonight" I said with tears running
out of my eyes.
A hot slap on my cheek brought me back to
reality.
"Please stop," I cried out and snapped my
eyes open Immediately .
It was a fucking dream.
"Holly shit" I muttered as I discovered that my
clothes were wet from my sweats.
"Sissy dad said you should come to dinner,the
alpha and his son are here already" I heard
little Bryan say.
"Coming" I said, stripping off my clothes and
getting into the bath room.
|let the cool shower run on me as my
thoughts went to dream,l know it won't come
to pass So I am not bothered.
Waking out of the shower,l wore my panties
and a long night gown and packed my hair in
a ponytail as I walked out.
Getting to the dining areal saw the alpha and
Daniel sitting beside my parents and the
dude was just staring at me .
"What took you so long to come out?" my dad
asked, staring at me.
"I slept off,sorry" I said and my dad nodded.
"Anna I heard you were lost in the bush what
happened" my alpha said, staring at me.
"l just ran off" I said.
"Why did you run off Daniel?"asked with a
smirk on his face.
"And how's that you fucking business" I said
banging my hands on the table angrily.
"Hey it's okay," mom said, holding my hands.
"Am sorry" I said as I realized everyone was
staring at us.
"Did you guys fight?" the alpha asked, Iooking
at me.
"No we didn't fight,and we aren't gonna fight
anyday, right Anna"'he said looking at me and
I Balled my fist under the table angrily,l really
hate this boy.
"It's okay with the question, why don't we eat
our four? It's getting cold".mom said, breaking us out of our thoughts.
"Ok momma" Bryan who had been watching
the whole drama said as he began to eat his
spaghetti hungrily.
"Foodie" I said while playing with his hair and
he giggled excitedly.
I turned to my food and began to feed on it
since I was seriously hungry.

We were already done with our dinner and my
dad was having a conversation with the alpha
in his office.
l just finished doing the dishes with my mom
in the kitchen and I came out and I met Daniel
playing with my little bro.
l pulled off the gown and just being in a bra
the door opened and Daniel entered.
"What the fuck, can't you knock?" | screamed
as I quickly grabbed the gown and used it to
COver myself.
"What's that all about? I have seen it all,"he
said, sitting on my bed .
"We were kids Daniel "| screamed as I walked
into the bathroom and wore my gown.
" Where did you go?"he said yesterday,
staring at me.
"Stop behaving as if you care, you treated me
like trash yesterday Remember" l asked
looking at him.
"Yeah, I just told you a fact," he said, rolling his
eyes.
"Why are you doing this to me?" I asked,
looking at him.lignored them and Walked into my
room ,getting in and I began to strip off my
clothes.
"I don't love you, and that's just it," he said,
approaching me.
"Why?"l said, already on the verge of tears.
"l only care for you as a sister" he said, shifting
towards me whilel shifted backwards till my
back reached the wall and he pinned me to
the wall.
"You look good," he said as his breath fanned
my neck.
"What are you doing?" I asked but instead his
lips touched mine and I melted in his arms
immediately.
I couldn't resist his charms so I kissed him
back, wrapping my hands around his neck.
Ihad kissed him before and we made out but |
didn't have sex with him it was justa hot
romance.
He pulled me closer by my waist and pulled
away from my lips and began to trail hot
kisses on my neck.
"Dan" I moaned out softly as I felt my legs
begin to go jelly and he stopped immediately
and pulled away.
"Why did you stop?"l asked, looking at him.
"l can't do this," he said.
"what do you mean you can't do this? I am
ready to give you your virginity if that's what
Would make you love me,"l said.
"I can't Anna, I would just be hurting you" he
said.
"You don't have to worry, I have a feeling that
the moon goddess would pair us together.
We are meant to be, "I said.
"She didn't,"he said.
"What Do you mean she didn't, don't tell me
it's what I am thinking" i said with tears rolling
out of my eyes.
"I met her yesterday,my mate and my Luna,l
am sincerely sorry Anna,"he said.
"Just leave"l said, going to lay on my bed.
"Am sincerely sorry" he said.
"It's not your fault Dan, don't feel guilty" I said
and with that he shut my door.
I let the tears flow out of my eyes,I would just
live with the fact that I lost him.

The next night.
It was finally here,the day of the ritual.
I can't really believe it's finally happening.
The whole street was quiet.
I wore my favorite gown,even though they
told us not to bring anything,l still picked the
only family picturel had and the picture I had
taken with Dan and I hid it in my bra Incase I didn't come back.
I walked out and I met my dad seated with my
mom and Bryan.
"Sissy you promise to come back right?"
Bryan asked, staring at me.
"I will be back tomorrow and am gonna take
you out for ice cream, "I said and hugged him
tightly.
"Anna l know you are gonna be back,but
whatever happens always know that mama
loves you" mom said crying and I hugged.
"Mom you don't have to worry I would be
back" I said as we pulled away from the hug.
"Stay safe"'she muttered behind me.
"Let's go" my dad said and I nodded.
Waking out of the house ,with my dad I met
Daniel standing outside.
"Can I have a word with her please?" he asked and my dad nodded.
" Promise to be back tomorrow" he asked
looking at me.
"Of course l'm gonna be back,"I said looking
at him.
"Take this"he said, bringing out a shining gold
necklace.
"What for?" I asked.
When you come back give it to me he said
and with that he pecked my forehead .
"Thanks Dan,"I said, hugging him tightly.
We were running late. My dad 's voice came
Out.
"Bye" I said, waving at him and rushing to
meet my dad.
Getting into his car we took off.
