[Flashback continues]

Barry is with his alluring girlfriend and Pete is with his seductive girlfriend, while I am here all alone.

There is no way I'm gonna walk over there to talk to Barry when a girl is on his laps, and his friends are around. The last thing I want is getting embarrassed by some girl or crazy guys.

I went over to the bar to order for some drink. I really need it.

The mixologist surprisingly turned out to be Don, the guy who helped Barry with his tattoo. He is a tat artist and also a mixologist? How many jobs is he taking all at once?

He wasn't smiling as usual, but his eyes had a light in them.

"Hi" I waved casually at him with a dull energy. I would have been friendly with him but I lack the strength to do that.

"Hey" he greeted me back with his unfriendly attitude.

I sat on the barstool, sensing the way he eyed me as he made my drink and that annoyed me for unknown reasons.
