I swallowed hard because I knew I was in Barry's trouble again. This time, he didn't drag me into it, I dragged myself into it.

If I wasn't so stupid, I wouldn't try giving him a simple glance that will lead to something not so simple. I should've kept my eyes to myself, now, I can't even take my eyes off him and he would not stop his fixed look done with ease. This is like a staring contest where there will be no winner.

Is Barry compelling me? Yes, but maybe not intentionally. There are emotions in his eyes that I could not look away from.

In those eyes I could see the dull colour of sadness. The fire of anger. The twinkle of desire.

I don't that twinkle ever leaves his eyes. It is always there to flirt with girls and to make me weak in the knees.

"Are you trying to study Barry?" Pete asked, bringing my focus back to the class.
