I'm back.

The next thing she knew when she woke up that day was that the old couple kept her and took good care of her until she gave birth to the triplets. Yeah they are triplets but she never saw any of them. That was the darkest day of any mother for sure.

Because she doesn't want to be so much of a burden to them she refuses when they told her to at least visit a doctor for a check up. Although she still has savings, she really keeps it for her delivery and she doesn't want the old couple to spend any single cents for her. Allowing her to stay with them with free food and a comfortable home is too much. She doesn't want to take advantage of their generosity and kindness.

It was a full moon. She's enjoying watching the big moon when she felt the pain on her belly. Grandma immediately helped her lay on the bed while grandpa went to the kitchen and did as his wife told him. Grandma helped her with her delivery. Since she doesn't have any idea that she will give to not just one but triplets she goes through normal delivery.

When the first born comes out after the long unbearable pain. She panicked when she didn't hear any sound of crying. She's about to stand to look when another wave of pain hits her on her tummy. After a long push and pain like no end. she manages to deliver the second again. It's too quiet. No sounds of crying babies. Before she could react, there was the same pain from contraction again. If she has a hard time delivering the first and second, the third one really kills her to the point her body gives up. Finally!! When the last one came out she heard a beautiful cry of a baby before she passed out in exhaustion.

When she woke up, she saw grandma and grandpa sitting beside her bed. Their eyes are red like they're crying. The first thing she saw was the three small boxes on the side. There's an unexplainable fear creeping in on her.

"Where's my babies? Where are my triplets? Are they alright? How are they?"

In her weak state, she managed to throw those questions. But instead of answering, grandma cried so loud on her husband's chest. Even grandpa is crying so hard too. She quickly forces herself to get up. Grandpa immediately ran to her.

"What do you think you're doing? You just gave birth! You shouldn't move and have a rest."

"But grandpa, my babies. Where are they?" She's now crying. She doesn't want to believe what's the meaning behind those cries they show to her.

"I'm sorry Dear." Grandpa said with a weak voice but for her it's like a bomb.

Her body becomes numb as her mind turns blank. She stays like that for a long time when Grandma squeezes her hand.

"We know it's hard dear but you need to brace yourself."

"How?" She asked absent-mindedly.

"We're sure that you were aware when the two came out and we didn't hear any sound from them. The first two are not fully developed yet. Their skin is not yet completed." Grandma said in the middle of sobbing.

"What about the last one? I heard the sound of crying. You heard it right?" She eagerly asked hoping that there's even one alive.

"Yes.. Among them she's the normal one. But not long after you gave birth to her she died too." Grandpa said, hugging her on her shoulder. "You gave birth to two boys and a girl my dear but sadly they are not meant to be with us."

Speechless.. Bewildered.. Pain.. Heartache that's what she was by that time.

"You want to see them?" Grandma asked. When she didn't answer she continued. "We suggest not to my dear. There is nothing more painful than seeing your lifeless babies lying in there. Especially those two who are not yet fully developed."

Grandma is right. There's a part of her that she wants to see for the last time but she doesn't have the courage to do it. The last thing she wants to see them doing is laying inside there in the box lifeless.

Luna wiped the tears in her face. It's been three months of course and she's still mourning over it. She will walk on the trail up to the house of the good people who never leave her in her down times. Honestly, going here is not on her plan yet. A month after that happened. She bid her goodbye to the couple and said she wants to continue her life again. They don't really want to let her but she's so determined to go and leave the place that keeps on reminding her the painful memories.

After some heart to heart talk they finally understand why she wants to leave. They finally allowed her to go and even gave her some money. She took the money and promised to pay them back when she has a job again. The first two months are fine. They always talk to each other on the phone and exchange messages regularly. But this fast few weeks she didn't hear anything from them. No return calls and even no replies to her messages.

She decided to visit them now that she has the money to pay them. And besides she didn't sleep last night thinking of this place. Like this place is calling her to come today. On top of that her breast milk keeps on licking and it kills her. They said if you didn't let the babies suck the milk in you it would be gone eventually. But why is her milk still there and when her breast aches the first thing that comes to her is that her babies are hungry.

When she finally saw the roof of the house, she ran her way up to meet them. The place is still the way it was when she left.

"Grandma!!! Grandpa!!! I'm back!!!"

She called but no one answered. She got inside the yard, maybe they didn't hear her call. When she reaches the front door it is slightly ajar. She pushed it wide open and called them again. This time much louder.

"Grandpa? Grandma? It's me Luna!!! Where are you?"

Still no one answered. Looking around she tried to find a clue if something bad happened to them. After a few hours of searching for them or something that will lead her to them she finally gave up. The sun is about to set and for a long time she stays in that place. Grandpa doesn't allow her to go out when the clock strikes six in the evening onwards.

She goes to the kitchen to cook something to eat for dinner. The fridge is full. Looks like they just went shopping. After having birth Luna tried not to eat meat as much as she could. Meat only reminds her of the days she still has her babies inside her. But for some reason she's craving it tonight. She put out the huge chunk of meat from the freezer. If she used to eat it raw, now she will make sure that it's well cooked before she takes it in her mouth.

After eating and cleaning the kitchen she goes up to her room. Looking out the window like she always did before, she noticed that the moon is strangely big tonight. Right! Tonight is a full moon. The same phase when she gave birth to her babies.

The moon gave a bright light that illuminates the whole yard. When a cold breeze blows on her, Luna decides to close the window and prepare for her sleep. The very moment she closed her window she heard something outside. She quickly opened it again as she thought it was the old couple. Indeed she saw two shadows from the distance but it's not a shadow of a human.
