Chapter 33
Two of the Azaleas moved forward to seize Princess Avura but Master Dee in a swift reaction rendered them headless with his sword. His action taking everyone other person by surprise.
"I dare anyone to lay a finger on the princess" he half yelled fearlessly staring straight at Prince Zeko.
Three other members of the Azaleas attempted to step forward when he reminded them of something.
"Have you all forgotten this is Princess Avura, the first child of King Roberts and even an elder sister to Prince Zeko. We shouldn't throw our traditions and customs away because we are in a foreign land" Master Dee reminded ready to kill as many that will come forward after those words.
Other members of the Azaleas retreated standing behind Prince Zeko and Larry their spokeman.
"Master Dee you never seize to amaze me with your loyalty to the princess but if I may ask why then did come here to me? " Prince Zeko asked.
"We are here because Princess Avura wanted to be here. Left to me we would have gone back home" Master Dee replied with a scorn on his face.
"My sister might be protected because she is royalty but as for you, you dare not speak to me in that tone" Prince Zeko yelled at him to remind him of his place.
"Seize him", he said turning to the Azaleas who wanted to step forward again but were stopped.
"Stop there all of you!! " Princess Avura yelled at them as they all stopped on their tracks. The minute was turning to a shouting match with Tyler staying out of it purposely at this stage. He wanted there vampires to sought themselves as much as Princess Avura is not harmed
At this moment Princess Avura stepped forward with a menacing calm look on her face. Tyler wonders how she was able to look both deadly and Calm at the same time.
"All this madness should end immediately Zeko. I might not have stayed in the palace all my life but I know my right and your place. I am only here because I want to make a deal with you" Princess Avura stated.
"I am all ears" Prince Zeko replied with a look that suggested he didn't care about any other thing she just said.
"I want to strike a bargain with you, I want you to leave this people alone and I promise I will never set foot on our kingdom again. I don't even wish to return home again" She dropped a proposal to Prince Zeko.
There was silence everywhere as Prince Zeko pondered on the proposal.
"Then what do I tell father happened to you?" Prince Zeko asked suspiciously.
"You can tell him I am dead, after all when you kill me you have told him same thing" Princess Avura replied.
"Yes but that would have been a different case, then you would have really bean dead but now I can't really trust you that you won't set your foot in our land again. How am I Sure you will keep to your word?" Prince Zeko asked with a feeling that his sister was trying to trick him.
Tyler took Princess Avura by the hand and half dragged her to a corner.
"What do you think you are doing?" He asked in a whisper.
"I know what I am doing Tyler. I don't desire the throne. What people will happily serve me when they have been brainwashed I killed my mother" Princess Avura replied him as he began to make sense of her decision.
"What is wrong? Is your man friend not happy with your decision?" Princess Zeko called out in a mocking tone.
"Keep quiet!! " Tyler yelled at him.
"How dare you tell me to keep quiet, I am a prince" Prince Zeko yelled at him.
"A prince of your kingdom, this is not your kindgom" Marcel replied him in defense of his alpha.
"Enough of this nonsense, if you want this to work then you must call in a Goudski" Prince Zeko demanded.
"No way, this will not be a Goudski" Master Dee refused to agree to that.
"Yes I agree to a Goudski" Princess Avura replied without hesitating as everyone else looked on in confusion in what Goudski could be.
A Goudski was a blood covenant with supernatural backing entered by two vampires in which breaking it will mean death for the defaulter. It was usually done in front of others who will stand at witnessess. The witnesseses are also bonded never to reveal what was entered. Death was also the punishment for going against it.
"Do you still remember how Goudski works? " Prince Zeko asked surprised that Princess Avura could still remember.
"Master Dee taught me everything I need to know as a vampire so tell me your terms" Princess Avura replied.
"Okay then if you say so, my terms are simple. You will never set your foot on our kingdom again. That's all I want" Prince Zeko demanded.
'What are your terms?" He asked curiously.
"My terms are also simple. That you will not Hurt me or anyone I care about from this day henceforth" Princess Avura replied giving her own conditions.
"Kizito bring a bowl" Prince Zeko orders as Kizito brought a bowl.
Everyone watched as Prince Zeko drew blood from his hand with a knife and poured it into the bowl. The injury healed up immediately.
He passed the bowl to Princess Avura who did the same thing.
Their blood missed properly in the bowl before Princess took a drink from it before passing it back to Princes zeko who also drank from the bowl.
"Let us not forget, this Goudski is binding on everyone that has witnessed this. You cannot tell this to anyone outside this gathering if you do it is death." Prince Zeko announced to the hearing of everybody.
It was then he noticed King Macho and the rest of the pack apart From Marcel and Tyler were absent.
"Wait where did your people go?" Prince Zeko asked suspiciously.
Before Tyler could look around to give him a reply arrows came like rain pouring on them from different direction.
