LIAM
Rain is curled up by the corner, hiding his face away from me his whole body shaking.
I kneel beside him, not touching him yet even though it kills me.
"Baby, it's me. Liam. I am here."
"Don't come in, don't look at me," he sobs.
"Why?"
"Because you will hate me," when he looks up, my heart drops. His face is swollen, the right side of his face bruised and I see a cut along his neck.
Day told me he wasn't hurt. Rain looks hurt.
"Who did this to you?" I forget I wasn't supposed to touch him, my fingers running along his jaw.
Rain flinches from my touch ducking away, looking at me like I am going to hurt him.
"I am sorry baby, I won't hurt you I won't touch you," I apologize quickly, raising my hands.
"Why are you here? I told him not to call you. I don't want you to see me like this."
