They have a few preparations to make. Arturo agrees to look after Bruiser, and Austin agrees to look after Tuzi. From there, Wilma has to put in a call for the warehouse to call off work whilst Kai sets them up for their trip.
With a week's worth of supplies shoved into the glamor car, they set out east of the Maiden Bridges.
"You gotta know somebody that can help you get your license cleared," Wilma says as they're beside each other. A quick spell renders the car self-driving, with a phantom image of Wilma projected in the driver's seat. "Cuz if we get pulled over and I get my license taken, we're gonna be in a pickle. So do your rich people thing."
Humming as he absentmindedly glances over the GPS displayed on his mirror, Kai simply tilts his head up and points out, "The rich people thing only works so long as you're rich."
