Ego, even when he was facing the Guardians of the Galaxy, never stopped watching the surroundings of the sector where his planet was located.
And just moments ago, he felt the arrival of a great cosmic force, and the only one with that level of power was Galactus.
"Damn, that bastard managed to call his boss" Ego's face was gloomy and he wanted very much to kill the herald of Fire.
The Guardians of the Galaxy also notice Ego's strange reaction and are left confused.

"Legion, activate Cosmic Mode" Gamora ordered with a cold expression as she noticed Ego's intentions.
"Activating...Cosmic Mode" with those words, the Legion armor Gamora was wearing released a huge amount of bluish colored energy.
That was Cosmic Energy!
Ego was horrified, not only by the energy, but he felt the presence of three different essences and each outgrown him.
Legion's power source was produced from the energy of Est, Lina, and Galacta.
This Cosmic Mode was a single use but extremely powerful.
Cosmic Energy shot through Gamora's right arm creating a lance of energy over a hundred feet long.
"W-wait..." Ego wanted to say something but Gamora didn't give him time.
Without hesitation, Gamora throws the spear at Ego.
The latter could not react and was pierced by the spear, which was completely inserted into the planet.
"Let's go, quick" Gamora said once she entered the spaceship.
Star-Lord didn't hesitate and they left the planet.
Seconds after leaving, they heard a huge explosion.
All the Guardians looked at the planet Ego and were shocked that the fourth part of the planet had been destroyed.
Hela looked at Gamora seriously, who had separated from Legion, although at first she felt danger from Gamora's armor, she never expected it to be so powerful.
"Don't you think you should have done from the beginning?" Rocket asked stunned.
"This is only a last resort, as Legion can't take that energy release" Gamora answered calmly looking at the Sentinel that had gone off.
"Hey, will the big guy be okay?" Drax asked approaching the Sentinel.
After all, he considers him a partner who has helped them many times.
"Don't worry, after a day of rest it will be as good as new, now we must quickly leave this place since something is approa..." Gamora answered as she tried to explain the reason for her escape, but at that moment the spaceship began to shake as if it had suffered turbulence.
They all look into outer space and are shocked to see a large black cloud moving at high speed towards planet Ego.
It's Galactus!
"Now I understand why that guy's attitude was weird" Captain Marvel muttered.
"And it seems he didn't come alone" Hela commented coldly looking at three types of energy that surrounded Galactus.
They are his other heralds.
The faces of all the Guardians change, even Hela is a little nervous.
Although the group could defeat a herald, that did not mean that they could defeat such a large group.
"Look! The planet is escaping" hearing Rocket's words, they looked at Ego, who began to pick up speed, leaving the place.
His movement speed is so shocking that no one would think he is a planet.
Galactus' group doesn't stay still either and they start chasing him.
"Quill, leave this place" Gamora said and Star-Lord didn't hesitate anymore and the spaceship escaped from the place.

"Don't worry, Legion has analyzed his energy and can track him at any time, but we must wait for it to recover" Gamora said as she looked at Legion.
They all nod their heads.
"So what do we do now?" Rocket asked as he checked his «toys».
"…Guys, I want to go find Yondu to get answers and find out the reason for my kidnapping" Star-Lord said after hesitating a bit.
He wants to clear up doubts.
"...No problem, after all we don't have anything to do at the moment" Gamora said after thinking about it for a few seconds.
The other Guardians agree.
Hela just sits in a corner without saying anything as she is also curious about that boy's origin.
