Time Travelers Part 12

Jim begins to walk towards the exit accompanied by his sister Ariel.

"I guess the negotiations went awry" Captain said as he tightened his grip on his shield.

Falcon quickly rose a few meters from the ground to give himself the upper hand in attacking them.

The central computer room is large as it took up a total of three floors in Avengers Tower.

So it was not uncomfortable for Falcon to move in the air.

Captain quickly threw his shield at Jim, who raised his arm grabbing the shield and returning it to the captain with ease.

Captain was surprised and quickly tried to dodge, but the great speed at which the shield was moving did not allow him and hit him in the chest sending him rolling a few meters on the ground.

Seeing this, Falcon started shooting at Jim.

Jim undeterred didn't defend himself. Before the bullets touched him, they disintegrated inches from him.

Clint also shot his arrows at him but the same phenomenon occurred as with the bullets.

Natasha and Bruce Banner helped Captain, because the attack seems to have hurt him.

"That kid is strong. We need our green friend, Dr. Banner" Captain said seeing how easily the young man defended himself from Clint and Sam's attacks.

Banner grimaced, but nodded.

Tony and Rhodey in their respective suits decided to attack the young woman.

They fired at Ariel using their hand repulsors.

In front of Ariel, a circular purple barrier appears that easily protects her from their attacks.

"Damn, it'll be hard to catch her" Rhodey said as he fired his machine gun at Ariel.

Ariel undoes her barrier and with terrifying speed, she approaches Rhodey while dodging the bullets he shoots at her.

Rhodey is surprised but before he tries to dodge, Ariel touches his suit and says:

"Disperse"

Moments later, Rhodey's suit is destroyed.

Rhodey is stunned to see this.

Tony is also surprised, he had realized that the young woman only touched his suit and didn't even hit him hard.

But still she destroyed Rhodey's suit.

Seeing himself without his suit, Rhodey sees the young woman who gives him an amused look and with a bitter smile he asks:

"Can you wait until I put on my other suit?"

"No, so go to sleep" Ariel answered as she touched his forehead with one of her fingers.

Immediately afterwards, Rhodey felt tired and slowly began to close his eyes as he fell to the ground.

<Damn, not my lucky day> Rhodey thought as he fell unconscious.
