Six months Part 1

When I hear his words, I really don't know what to say.

The Avengers, I know that joining the group will give me benefits but will also restrict me.

"I'll think about it, but if you need a hand, I'll give you" I could only tell him that.

"I see, so what will you do from now?" Fury asks me.

Seeing that he dropped the topic of The Avengers, I sigh in relief and answer him.

"For now, I'll take care of the brats and try to find a place where they can live without fear."

Hearing my words Fury says:

"You will go after Stryker"

"Of course I will go for the bastard, he was the main person in charge of the project and I know he won't stop" I reply.

"Okay, then read the document I gave you very well, it details his personal secret bases, it was difficult to get" comments Fury.

"Thanks"

Expressing my thanks to him was the only thing I could do.

As Laura approaches, Fury ends the conversation with me, gets up and starts to leave.

I didn't say anything when he left.

When Laura tells me it's over, I got up and we left the place too.

It is time to see the Ancient One again.

Sanctum Sanctorum

Arriving at the doors of the place I prepare to knock, when suddenly the door opens, the person I recognized as Wong was the one who opened it.

"Come in, the Ancient One awaits you" Wong invites us to enter the mansion.

Once inside, Laura and I are surprised by how magnificent the place is.

We followed Wong into a small room where the Ancient One was already waiting for us.

"Take a seat" the Ancient One tells us.

When I finish taking a seat, I ask her:

"So, will you finally tell me your purpose?"

"I think I already told you before, but I'll say it again, I believe in your possibilities" the Ancient One calmly answers as she drinks her tea.

Listening to her say that confuses me, I don't think I'm that special.

Seeing my doubts, the Ancient One adds:

"I don't know how it happened but the mere existence of whatever is in that right hand of yours is influencing the world"

"At first I wanted to destroy you, but then I realized that your actions directed the influence of your right hand"

"I influence the world?" I ask in amazement.

"Yes, but you don't have to worry. For a moment I thought you were a danger to the earth but then I realized that you became its anchor"

"Something that can protect it from destruction" the Ancient One finishes her explanation.

Hearing that I was no longer very surprised, in the world of Toaru Majutsu no Index the 'Imagine Breaker' had a similar position.

Calming down, I decide to change the topic, so I ask:

"The children, where are they? Didn't they cause any problem?"

Without saying anything about changing the topic, the Ancient One calls Wong and asks him to take me to where the children are.
