Savage Land Part 1

Antarctica

Alex Wayne POV

After adequate preparations we are in Antarctica.

Magneto, Wanda, Pietro, Polaris, Psylocke, Riri, Mystique, Laura and myself participate in this journey.

The others stayed to protect Genosha.

I don't remember a way to get to the Savage Land, so we're using the Sentinels already reprogrammed by Riri.

We start the search.

We are currently on a quinjet that Natasha gave me.

"Are you sure that in this place there will be what you call vibranium?" Pietro asked.

"I'm not sure, but there's a big chance" I answered him.

While we were flying over Antarctica, Magneto says:

"Stop Mystique, I think this guy was right"

Mystique stops the quinjet and lands.

Without clarifying anything Magneto says:

"Lorna (Polaris), did you feel it?"

"Yes father"

Polaris replied to him and looking at us says:

"We have detected an irregular magnetic field below us, Alex, I think what you are looking for it should be close"

That's why I brought the best metal detectors on the planet with me, of course I thought so, I'm not stupid enough to say it out loud.

Riri brought in the Sentinels and they began to search the surroundings.

A few minutes later.

"Looks like the Sentinels have found something" Riri said.

We quickly headed to the place.

The Sentinels have found a tunnel, the entrance is about 10 feet high.

The Blizzards of the place hid it well.

We leave some Sentinels to guard the quinjet and the entrance.

And we enter the tunnel.

After almost two kilometers of walking.

We reached the end of the tunnel and what we saw left us surprised.

"This place doesn't look like what we were looking for, right Alex?" a stunned Pietro asked.

The place we see is surprising, it is a totally different environment than Antarctica.

It looks like a big jungle, from which loud animal roars could be heard.

"What weird place is this?" Wanda asked.

"We don't know, but in this place I can feel clearly, the place where the metal you spoke about might be, Alex" Magneto said.

I just smile, this place surprised me but I know it's the Savage Land.

Now we just have to find the vibranium and then leave.

Finding a way down since the place where the tunnel ends is 100 feet above the ground, we continue our search.

"This place looks like a fantasy" Polaris said seeing how huge the trees were.

"Be careful around, this place can be full of dangers" Magneto said.

"Alex look at that" Psylocke said as she pointed to the left of our position.

We all look in the direction Psylocke is pointing.

Just to be surprised, there is a small reptilian creature there, which is bipedal.

It's a little dinosaur.

And apparently, it's not alone

I knew that these little ones see us as their food.
