Mafia (Confrontation I) Part 11

Outside the private detective agency, two people were walking toward Jessica's office.

These two people are sent by The Hand to assist the Kingpin in capturing Laura.

They are the brothers Boyd and Bufford Buzzard, dangerous criminals who work for The Hand and among their most heinous crimes is cannibalism.

"Brother, did you hear the girl they sent us to capture has a relation with Wolverine? It seems that she is his daughter" Boyd said to his brother.

"I know but don't think about eating her, after all we were ordered to capture her alive" replied Bufford.

"Hehehe but brother, a bite wouldn't be bad, right? After all, she's Wolverine's daughter, so she must be able to heal herself" Boyd suggested.

When they entered the agency one of the men injured by Jessica was waiting for them.

"You're here, Buzzard brothers. The girl you're looking for just arrived about 15 minutes ago and still hasn't left the office" the man said.

Boyd Buzzard looks at the man in front of him and says:

"You did a good job calling us as soon as you saw her but The Hand doesn't need incompetent people who can't capture a simple girl"

Finishing speaking, Boyd at high speed plunged a knife into the man's throat without giving him time to react.

Ignoring the man's lifeless body, the Buzzard brothers advance on Jessica's office, ruthlessly murdering their own allies.

When they arrive at Jessica's office, they see five people inside, one man and four women. Immediately the Buzzard brothers draw their guns and start shooting.

Alex Wayne POV

When I see two men enter the office, I pick up Laura and Riri and throw them at Psylocke, who catches them.

"Get them out of here" I told Psylocke.

When I finish talking, I watch as the men draw their weapons and start shooting, Psylocke reacts and teleports with the girls. Jessica takes cover behind her desk while I dodge and using 'Invisible Bullet' I deflect her bullets with mine.

The two men are surprised by my abilities and concentrate all their shots on me.

This gives Jessica a break, who without a second thought throws her desk at them. The two men jump to the side to avoid the desk, then I approach to Jessica and we jump out the window, since it was a fifth floor and due to our superhuman bodies, we didn't get hurt.

The two men started shooting at us as Jessica and I ran away.

When we reach a corner, a car approaches us but when I see the driver I relax.

It was Psylocke with the two girls, it seems that Psylocke borrowed this vehicle.

Jessica and I got into the vehicle and left the scene.

"Damn, brother they got away" Broyd said angrily.

"Don't worry, there will be more opportunities to catch them" Bufford said calmly.

At that moment they heard the police sirens, so the Buzzard brothers decided to quickly leave the place to continue looking for Laura.
