Las Vegas (The Most Wanted I) Part 4

Jack Reynolds POV

I was currently in the dining room after completing my rounds.

While having a drink I watch TV since the presenter is reporting a breaking news.

"At approximately 03:25 PM an incident occurred involving three superhuman having a confrontation in Las Vegas; videos of spectators recording the confrontation have been uploaded, which we will show below"

The video shows three figures. On one side you can see a man with a mane around his neck and a spear in his hand, and facing him is a young man in a suit with a girl with claws on both hands and from the way they fight he could see that they had superhuman abilities.

"Hey, isn't that Alex?" said a random agent in the dining room.

Cough… Cough…

I start to cough because I also recognized him as my friend Alex Wayne.

"But what the hell is he doing?"

While I was wondering that, I noticed that a group of men accompanied by my superior approached me.

The one who seemed to be in charge asked me:

"Are you agent Jack Reynolds?"

"Yes sir" I replied

"Come with us please, we have a few questions to ask you about former agent Alex Wayne"

"Jacob, don't say that, Alex is still a SHIELD agent" our supervisor said as I gave him a look of thanks for defending my friend.

Agent Jacob just scoffed and said:

"His actions say otherwise, that man did not follow the rules and came out of anonymity attracting too much attention"

The man named Jacob turned his gaze to me waiting for my answer.

"Lead the way" I told him before starting to follow them.

While I was walking, I was thinking about how to help my friend by saying good things about him.

A man was sitting watching the news of the incident in Las Vegas

"What are Kraven and Kimura doing that they can't complete this mission?"

While this man was complaining he received a call.

Seeing who it was, he answered the phone:

"What do you want Akuma? I don't have time to entertain you"

At the other end of the line, a deep voice said:

"The Hand is willing to help you capture your fugitives, we only ask for half of those mutant children"

A few minutes later the man recognized as Zander replied:

It's a deal.
