Inhumans Part 6

I frown for a moment before putting on a helpless look.

Looking at my right hand, I think:

<You're kidding me, right? I know you bring bad luck to your bearers, but this is already exaggerated>

I recently said that dealing with the Inhumans and forming a good relationship with them was going to be difficult, but you go and throw me into the lion's den.

My right hand was silent, knowing that defending was not an option.

I can only sigh at this situation.

Well, it's the Himalayas, right? I won't necessarily run into them. This place is big, so the probability is low.

As I was pathetically trying to comfort myself, Jane says:

"Well, this is a good place, go ahead and put on some thick clothes and let's go inside"

Irene pulls coats from a small backpack for the twins, Illyana and herself.

Laura, Mantis and I don't have any problem with the cold due to our physique.

Everyone quickly got ready and we decided to enter the portal to the Himalayas.

As we walked through the portal, it didn't feel weird but it was like walking through a fabric of water.

That feeling lasted only a few seconds.

When we finally go through the portal, we find ourselves in a place completely covered in snow.

We all look around curiously.

I must say that this invention is amazing.

The twins and Illyana seem fascinated by what they see.

The portal starts to close until it disappears.

We quickly look at Jane Foster.

Sensing our gaze, she takes out a kind of tablet from the backpack she is carrying and while turning it on, she says:

"Don't worry, the Einstein-Rosen Bridge machine is connected to this device and with it we can reopen the portal"

When she finished speaking, the device in her hands finally turns on.

She shows us the screen of the tablet, where we can see the map of the place where we are.

She touches the screen, and moments later, a portal appears a few feet from us.

Through it, we can see Jane's laboratory.

"This is how it works, but at the moment we can only do it on Earth. If we travel to another planet, we have to call the base" Jane said.

"So we go back now?" Darcy asked.

When I was going to answer, I look at Sasha, who is in my arms. The little girl looks with great curiosity at the snowman that Riri, Mantis. Illyana and Laura are doing.

"Not yet, I want to stay a little longer" I answered.

Jane just nodded and kept looking at her tablet.

After half an hour of enjoying the place, we decided it was time to go back.

Jane quickly activated the device to open a portal.

Just as she was about to open it, we heard a loud rumble from north of our position.

My face tensed.

Looks like things are going to get complicated.
